Hi all! As a new "Crown & Anchor" member I understand we will be receiving a coupon book in our cabin on arrival. Yippee! What's in it? I don't find any reference as to it's content at the RCCL site. Thanks for the info fellow cruisers!

There are many different coupons--for use in the casino, the shops on board, bingo, spa, etc. Depending on your classification (Gold, Platinum, etc.) the coupons differ in their values. Nothing hugeThey usually don't name which ship they are from, so we have kept them when we are going on another cruise in the near future.

We're "GOLD" members (less than 5 cruises w/ RCI) and the coupon books are just... OK. (Although I think they get better with each level "up" you are in the Crown and Anchor Club.)

 

For example, one is a free 5x7 photo OF THE SHIP with any 8x10 photo purchase. Oh, be still my heart! haha! Also, 5% off any RC logo clothing in the shops... BOGOF drinks in the bar (that one's pretty decent, actually)... a free casino token... $5.00 internet credit... that type of thing.

 

A fun tip that we learned last cruise though is that although the coupons say, "Valid for this sailing only", the coupons are the same from book to book and ship to ship... so (at this point anyway), you can carry over unused ones from cruise to cruise. Wish I'd have known that a few cruises ago! *Oh well!*

When we were on the Explorer we also got a coupon for one free admission to Johnny Rockets.

Check the drawers in your cabin for "left behind" booklets! Even if you're gold and the book is platinum, you can use them!

Each returning guest who signed up for C & A will receive a coupon book, so if there are 2 of you you get 2 books.

 

If you are on a ship with Johnny Rocket, you will each get free meal, except for soda, alcohol and shakes etc.

They are actually different than the ones in the Compass. Also you can use them any day of the cruise and not just on the day of the Cruise Compass as is true of those coupons.

There is a $5.00 internet credit coupon. We had 4 in our party, so I got $20 worth. Of course, the $20 only bought my 30 minutes internet time. But...it was enough to get on and check my email daily.

:D Thanks to all that responded to my question! If it's free..no matter the value..it's gotta be good! This was my first post and it was a lotta fun...but the complainers and crybabies gotta go..we're on vaca..just relax..tooooo soon it's over and then-well you know how it goes..

Now that RC has extended the C&A benefits to our kids, they'll be getting their own coupon book and sail away gift. Has anyone been on RC with their kids recently? What was in their coupon book and what was their sail away gift? We're platinum members and I have signed up both of our boys in C&A so that they each have their own membership number. We're sailing on the Navigator in November for Thanksgiving so I'm just curious as to what they will receive.
