What a great thread. My favorite is WURI from the Phillipines (I think ) on Explorer. He was an absolute double to our neighbor and a wonderful guy too.

One of my favorites is Leonardo on Mariner. He was our assistant waiter in 2006, and last year we saw him in the dining room and he remembered our names. He brought us our drinks during the day in the WJ last year; it was a pleasure to see him again. :)

Selcuk from Turkey was our waiter on the Voyager in 2003 - he was awesome. We also looked forward to seeing the oh so cheerful "Good morning" lady at the door to the Windjammer every morning - wish I could bottle her enthusiasm!

We LOVE< LOVE>LOVE Diego Tripaldi!!! He was our concierge on Brilliance but he is now on Legend. You will be very lucky to have him!

We had an assistant waiter on Splendor '06 that was great. He would bring me tea ahead of time so it was ready when everyone was having coffee. He almost seemed excited to let me pick out of the box to see what I was choosing. This is the one I rate all the other staff on. He was wonderful:D

I agree. They are fantastic as well. My mom and I usually eat in the Windjammer together. Last fall we were at Labadee and went through line seperately. The greeter was concerned when she saw my mom without me because she thought someting might have happened to me. I eat faster so was at our chairs under the umbrellas in the shade. When I went through line later, even though my mom told the greeter that she was meeting me, the greeter told me where my mom was so I would know where she was.

 

Isn't it also wonderfu, and amazing, when these people remember you and your preferences if you get the pleasure of seeing them again?

Our vote is for our waiter on the Jewel, Daniella and her wonderful husband Liviue. He was the manager in Portofinos and then the next year when we were on the Jewel he was a head waiter. Two very nice people

I've only been on one RCCL cruise (so far!) but was blown away by the service we received in the dining room on the Radiance of the Seas by both our waiter, Arthur from Peru as well as our assistant waiter Ignat from Romania. Arthur had just been promoted from assistant waiter the week we were on the ship, and did an absolutely AMAZING job. Ignat always had a smile on her face that radiated throughout the dining room. Matter of a fact, on the last night of the cruise we made reservations in Portofino but made sure they were early enough so that we could sit at our table in the dining room to say goodbye to them and watch them sing.

 

If RCCL is listening, please make sure Ignat and Arthur on the Radiance know how wonderful they made our cruise!

In the casino on various ships, Stanton (floor super.) and his wife Washiela (SP). great couple so nice. We have had the pleasure of being with them on 3 ships. Hopefully they will be on our Explorer cruisse in May.
