Favorite employee on Royal Caribbean

Recommended Posts

I was blown away by the service everywhere on Voyager of the Seas this March. But my entire family will always remember Mariana from Montenegro, our room attendent (7572, 7557, and 7559). My 14 year old daughter even left her a note saying she was like a second mother to her on the cruise. We loved her!

Our room attendant, Miguel, on Mariner last October. All of our rom att. have kept the room nice, but he was constantly giving us tips about what to eat that night, where to go for good souveneirs (sp). When we came back from our ATV in Jamaica, I had thrown away the sneaks I had worn, he pulled them out and cleaned them. They were better than they were when I came aboard!

He has become our standard for room attendants!

Gosh, alot of them are probably gone now but here is my MVP list.

Kevin - Cabin Steward on the Brilliance in 2006

Eddie - Bartender (Sports Bar) on the Brilliance in 2003

Eric/Arvin/Rusty - Bartenders (Schooner Bar & Champagne Bar) Brilliance 2003, 2004, 2006

Carlos - Waiter on the Brilliance 2006

Russell - Asst. Waiter on the Brilliance 2006

Ali - Bartender (Pool Bar) Brilliance 2006

Clayne - Bartender (Pool Bar) Brilliance 2003

Mykala - Bartender (Schooner Bar) Brilliance 2006

Is it me, or do I see a subtle trend here??:D

I also have to mention the Casino Manager in the Brilliance in 2006

for always being there, on several occasions to hand me those crisp $100 bills courtesy of the Wheel of Fortune game.

Aubie

Gerald from India, the head waiter on Majesty (3/17) was Awesome. On my previous cruises, I barely saw the head waiter, but Gerald made sure to speak to us each night, when he found out that Raspberry sherbet was my favorite desert, he hand delivered it the last 3 nights of our 4 night cruise, and said "Life is good." I don't know where he had to go to get the sherbet, our waiter said that it was wasn't available the first evening, and that they changed the sherbets they served each evening. Our waiter would deliver the deserts we ordered off the menu, after Gerald had hand delivered the sherbet, his expression....PRICELESS! All of our wait staff did an excellent job, but Gerald exceeded our expectations, he was amazing! So here's to Gerald: Life is indeed very good!:)

Rohan, Troy, and Emilio in the Schooner bar on the Sovereign...wonderful people to talk to and made the best drinks!

I'm just curious, was Rohan actually the bar manager, the handsome slim tall Indian from Katamandu. He's a dear friend - has left the SS and will join the Brilliance for the transatlantic to Europe. What a lovely young man he is! My other friend, Wilson Gracias, also from India, is the bar manager now and will stay with the SS until it goes out of service for Royal Caribbean in October.

I have to agree with the comments about Deborah, she really goes out of her way for guests, does anyone know which ship she is on now? she was on Jewel but was not there in January when we were on board. Also, agree that Dexter is a sweetie!!!

We loved Nester the greeter in the Windjammer on the Navigator, Nov., 2006. He also helped the waiter on the table my 7 grandchildren were eating at. They loved him.

My favorite stateroom attendant is Allyson from the Liberty this past March. Also there was a woman in the Concierge Lounge whose name I forget that was wonderful. Actually, all the personnel we came in contact with on the Liberty were absolutely terrific. Every single one always said "a pleasure" if you asked them something.

I just got home and I have one to add as well.

Sylviu from Romania on the Voyager. He was our waitor. We plan on staying in contact with him for a very long time.

Did he happen to mention how long he had been on Voyager?? Our waitor on Mariner in Feb was Sylviu Trifan from Romania. Could it be he has now moved to Voyager?!? If so, I will have to go on Voyager to see him again. He was AWESOME!!!!

I loved Anthony our stateroom attendant on Grandeur back in January. He was so awesome and helpful. After the first night I told him how much I loved the towel animal he made, so he told me he was going to have a special surprise for me...the next day every time I passed him he'd remind me my surprise was coming.

That night I got back to my stateroom and found a towel PERSON. A full thing made of pillows and towels, wearing my fiance's clothing and watching music videos. Fantastic :)

Conrad (dining room bartender) on Liberty of the Seas! He is a big ol boy from Jamaica who talks really fast. We are from the south and talk really slow! It was a hoot!

Hope to see him again in June!
