Cruelty to passengers

Something should be done.

You wait for such a long time to go on that special holiday..

that once in a lifetime dream come true..you get waited on hand and foot..

the food is great.. the islands are wonderful.. the weather, calm and

sunny..the company, delightful.. the crew and entertainment superb.

And then what happens...Well before you know it the cruise is over..

your left standing on the dock looking back at the ship thinking,

this can't be right, it can't be over, and how the hell did I manage to

put on so much weight:confused:

I am now at home where I have to cook, clean,make beds, go shopping,

do washing, gee I don't know whats happening.. my sunglasses had

not been cleaned this morning. I had to do it myself..This is not fair..

It's totally cruel I tell you. You get used to all of these wonderful

things and then it's gone. over. So I'm making a formal complaint

here. I don't want to go back to reality, I want to be spoiled some

more.. guess this means I will have to go on another cruise.

So beware..for all first time cruisers this will happen for you too:D

 

So just kick back and enjoy it while it lasts:D

Its been 3 weeks since I returned from my first cruise and even booking another cruise has done nothing to curb the emptiness....oh wait, that emptiness could be from the food I am no longer eating

I hate it when I get off the ship at the end of the cruise to see all the new passengers waiting to start thier cruise with smiles and excitement on thier faces! :(

 

That is cruel and painfull !!!! :p

I am surprised that you lot didn't read the instruction manual on how to avoid the cruising cruelty issue.

 

1. On your first cruise, meet up with a very nice officer.

 

2. Inspire him/her with your wit and beauty.

 

3. Keep constant contact by email to make sure that they don't forget you.

 

4. Offer them a home cooked meal in return for a family and friends deal.

 

5. Fall in love with same person.

 

6. Cruise whenever you like with said officer.

Hi Lorrae & Pete,

 

The only way to get over this vacuum, is to keep booking cruises. I hope that in the near future we will be sharing another drink with you and Peter in the Promenade Bar. We sail to Taihiti in 7 weeks,so break into the kids piggy bank or get Peter to work some overtime. See you then.

7. When officer returns home after 7 long months remember he has been living in an environment where he has someone to tidy his room for him, make his bed etc.

 

Allow a few days grace before uttering the words "I'm not your steward you know"

 

All who know me will be able to visit me in a hospital close by, about 5 minutes after a certain someone reads this......LOL:p

My own solution for cruise pax cruelty, is to do what I have done this year, going on one cruise in June this year and one next year, get two cruises booked in front of you and the pain is not so bad.!!

Even though we were only on board Pacific Sun for 2nights in March, and we have two more cruises booked to follow, it still felt the same getting off her as it did when we got off Pacific Star after 12 nights with nothing planned.
