wine corkage charge$

Recommended Posts

Has anyone brought wine on board to be used at dinner-what was the corkage charge and how did you go about bringing the wine on board and giving it to the dining room staff? Thanks from a wine drinker -but not at 75% markup(O:

Holland America and Celebrity both allow two bottles of wine per stateroom. I believe the corkage is $15 on Holland and $25 on Celebrity. With Royal Caribbean you are not permitted to bring wine onboard.

If you get a free wine as a booking incentive through travel agent, do you have to pay a corking fee for that if you want to enjoy it in your stateroom?

I believe that the only way you could receive one through a TA is if they purchased the bottle from the ship in which case there would be no corkage fee.
