I just went on my first cruise last month. I loved this picture I took of sunset in Freeport from the Serenity Deck.

Deck 3 on conquest class ships and Triumph class. Love it here, so quiet, and you can hear the sea. Just off the Atrium area which I also love. I love to sit here on a bench or a lounger and read.

You guys are lovely then and now.... wow..I was not on older Carnival but other older ships and ones used as commuter ships as well in 50's in the 80's....some things change some stay the same but when you see the pictures...thy seem so much older..than I feel or feel we look...we boomers..late 40's to 62 or so...births.

 

Personal health or achey joints..nothing to do with how I really feel at mid fifties..not old until I look at those older ships...they are..we are not...LOL.

 

Truly LOVE looking at all the ships inside and out old and new so thank you!!!

 

Yeah..I remember that nightgown thing..I just let one I was ok with stay on the hook..LOL..because at first it was sooo odd..and then entertaining...LOL..you never saw the guy..so i was not scared or anything..maybe just happily naive.

Just got back from a wonderful Splendor cruise on Sunday. Nothing like coming from 80 - 90 degree weather to 50 degrees. :(

 

Well at least we enjoyed it while we had a chance. :)
