I did ask this question onthe Carnival board, hopefully someone can answer my question here.:)...................

This may of been asked many times before, (search option is down), we have a LARGE deposit on a 2010 cruise, (due to a TA cancellation), if I had the 'extra' deposit transferred to our Dec cruise, could we get cash from the casino and have it charged to our S&S card?

Sure--if you go to the casino cage and get money--you will be charged 3% of the amount. IF you use your sign and sail card at a slot machine to get the money-- it wont cost you anything.

You want to be careful with some cabin credits-- some is use it or lose it.

Some cant be used for service tips. Make sure any money you transfer to cain credit can be used for anything

Why not just bring some extra cash with you? You can always take it back home and put it back in the bank if you don't need it!

It's not the cash we 'need' as such, CCL have $1500 deposit of ours............$1000 was transfered from our TA cruise that was cancelled. Hate the thought of CCL holding onto an extra $1000 for 17 months. ;) Yes, we could of had the money put back to our CC, but, would mean we would lose out on the exchange rate.
