Ragnar Danneskjold Posted November 18, 2008 #26 Share Posted November 18, 2008 Some friends this weekend were asking for a description of our upcoming cruise but I found it difficult to describe it succinctly. I thought about directing them to one of these crossing log websites, but the crossings are not really representative of a typical cruise. Are there any relatively recent websites like this for a SD caribbean cruise?
Jim Avery Posted November 18, 2008 #27 Share Posted November 18, 2008 Hi Ragnar: Plenty of detailed reviews by DJ, FT, Moi, and others. Scroll down a page or three and you will find plenty of info.

Oceans&Rivers Posted December 17, 2008 #29 Share Posted December 17, 2008 The SeaDream 2 Crossing Website is up and poised for action starting on Thursday, November 13, 2008. It's looking good and can be found here: http://www.freewebs.com/sd208fall/index.html Absolutely spectacular. So very well done. It looks great except for the following picture (also well shot): http://www.freewebs.com/sd208fall/atsea_d7/31%20%20Cigar%20Buddies.JPG I can't imagine having to smell cigars while doing a nice ocean voyage, and it appears that picture is taken up on deck (under a shade), and would be smelled all over the decks of the ship. Please tell me I'm wrong and that picture is an indoor shot in a small cigar room. :(
Jim Avery Posted December 17, 2008 #30 Share Posted December 17, 2008 Cigars are usually smoked at the Top of the Yacht Bar. Usually a non issue as there is generally a nice breeze up there and no sides to contain the smoke. There is no smoking allowed inside the ship. Jim Avery Posted December 17, 2008 #32 Share Posted December 17, 2008 As far as I know, anytime. You could call SeaDream in Miami and ask.
