Codfish Posted November 5, 2008 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2008 40 days out, no change in the base rate, but my aft balcony on the Legend, that I originally booked as an 8C, is now considered an 8I so the actual price has gone up! Doesn't look like an OBC for me. :( Oh well Now I got a GREAT deal on an 8I cabin on a great ship! :D

Megnolia Posted November 5, 2008 #6 Share Posted November 5, 2008 I'm booked under Past Guest, but the Resident rate dropped another $100!!!!!!!!! however to take advantage of it, I would have to move down to a room right above the casino. I decided to stay where I am. I better not tell DH, because I think he would have said to go for the $200!
cruise crazy64 Posted November 5, 2008 #7 Share Posted November 5, 2008 I have an upper/lower cabin in Inspiration Dec 6th. Originally I had the past guest rate but this week the Senior rate just went down $70.00!! My Mother is a senior so they were able to re-adjust our cabin to the new rate. Unforunately they also adjusted the fuel charge, up! LOL  Well at least we get $60.00 each to pay for stuff!! Bingo here we come! :D Karen, FL
BooBooMonkey Posted November 5, 2008 #8 Share Posted November 5, 2008 Our 6A went up last week, and seems to be going up and up! I usually book around the time of final payment, so I never get any price drops or OBC because my fare is already pretty low... Hoping you all get a good rate! kaylahszoo Posted November 5, 2008 #9 Share Posted November 5, 2008 Ours seems to be holding steady. No OBC in sight.:o
pe4all Posted November 5, 2008 #10 Share Posted November 5, 2008 Our 3rd/4th in a cabin price just went down $20pp. We now have over $500 obc due to price drops in the past 2 months- even with paying the $208 fuel supp. we got hit with. (we had none when we booked 20 months ago) First time we have ever had obc to spend. And we still have plenty of time till we sail to hit more price drops! cruisin blue Posted November 5, 2008 #11 Share Posted November 5, 2008 We just had a $30/pp price drop last week on out 1/3/09 sailing. Yesterday it dropped another $50/pp, and I am waiting to hear back from my PVP. We had already received a $50/pp price drop before final payment, so we are feeling very lucky! :D

wskon Posted November 5, 2008 #13 Share Posted November 5, 2008 Mine was so low to start with I don't think I have a chance!!! Would love to get out of my obstructed balcony but don't want to spend a whole bunch for it.. I would rather have an extra martini...
