Transportation MIA to Port???

What is the best way to get from the airport to the Port of Miami? We are traveling on Carnival Liberty mid Jan. Carnival's prices seem expensive...we are 3 adults, 4y.o., & infant. They want to charge me full price for the infant...even the airline isn't doing that!

Taxi! They are plentiful! Just collect your bags and head to the taxi stand. You may need 2 cabs, unless they can put you in a van, but it's still faster than shuttles! (and a baby counts as a person, no matter what!)

A cab is a flat rate of $24 or so to the port, no matter how many are in it!

Don't purchase the cruiseline's transfers; they are always much more expensive then doing it yourself. If you want to explore other options, just do a google search and you'll pull lots of car services, shuttles, etc. right up.

For sure ...TAXI!!!!! Extremely efficient and low cost. Take one back after your cruise too. I agree, you'll probably be better off with a van cab for comfort and room. There will be plenty around.

An infant may not occupy a seat, but it brings just as much baggage and other paraphenalia (if not more) as any other passenger. EM
