RedSox5 Posted November 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2008 I've heard bits and pieces of possibly receiving a refund for the fuel charge depending on fuel prices prior to cruising. Anyone hear anything similar or know any more details? I'm not sure which cruise lines this applies to.

Anyone hear anything similar or know any more details? I'm not sure which cruise lines this applies to. I know that Carnival and NCL are going to give "refund" in the form of OBC if the price of oil per barrell is under a certain price on a certain day each quarter. So, for my March 2009 NCL cruise, if the price of oil is on or below on December 19 (I may be off on the date?) I will get the $ spent on fuel surcharges credited to my on board account. I have my fingers crossed.

Rare Essiesmom Posted November 30, 2008 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2008 Each cruise line will have their policy/procedure posted on their website. EM
