Host Dan Posted February 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2009 Hi all, I'm sure this has been asked several times, but here goes... I just recived my docs for next month cruise on Noordam. I am in Deluxe Verandah Suite cat SC. I noticed in the docs special suite amenties for the Superior Verandah Suites, that the Deluxe Verandah Suites dont get, like complimentary laundry and dry cleaning. Is this correct? It would seem that the DVS would get all SVS amenities and more, as it is a higher, more costly suite. Also on the HAL site, it claims the opposite than whats in the docs, DVS get both SVS and DVS amenties, but doesn't address things like free 100 minute internet use etc.. I'm totally confused!!:confused::confused: Host Dan PS Is it also true that wine CAN be brought onboard? If so, how much?
rochelle_s Posted February 8, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2009 I can only answer your last question in regards to wine. There is no limit on the amount of wine, champagne, water and soda brought on HAL ships. Hopefully someone else can answer your suite questions. Deluxe veranda suites (SA< SB< SC) are at the top of the peckiing order - next to Penthouse, of course. They get all the perks, including complimentary laundry and pressing and dry cleaning. The HAL web site is correct - the deluxe suites get everything that the superior suites get, plus more. There is no free internet use for anyone, regardless of suite. UNLESS, you bought (extra cost) the special suite amenities package????

GmaPajama Posted February 8, 2009 #6 Share Posted February 8, 2009 ... and wi-fi for a small charge... I haven't seen THIS before. Do you know if that means there's now some kind of internet discount for suite guests?
takemewithyou Posted February 8, 2009 #7 Share Posted February 8, 2009 I haven't seen THIS before. Do you know if that means there's now some kind of internet discount for suite guests? See post #5. It's called the Suite Elite package. You pay for it! It is a very expensive package to purchase. Amended: Oh, I see what you are referring to, Donna....the end of the listed amenities for Suite passengers and the NL statement: "Wi- fi for a small charge". Beats me what that means! It's copied direct from HAL's web site - stateroom descriptions!
Bobs cruising Posted February 8, 2009 #8 Share Posted February 8, 2009 I haven't seen THIS before. Do you know if that means there's now some kind of internet discount for suite guests? With the suite elite package you pay a small fee for wi fi. Interpretation from Dam talk: small fee- a fee that is large to you and all others passengers but small to us.:rolleyes:
