Cruising89143 Posted March 15, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2009 Great photos Paul. Thanks for sharing. Still not sure that I could spend 46 days on a ship but I guess I could try!!!!!!:)
B-52 Posted March 15, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2009 I'm jealous. But to be honest, I don't know if I can handle 46 days. Did you cross the equator?? Did they do anything special for that? Also, what beach/resort is that in St. Maarten?
Bruinboy Posted March 15, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 15, 2009 Great shots. Thanks for sharing them. We will be on the Mariner in October. Around the Cape is the cruise I most want to take next. You pics just whet my appetite.
glgolfer Posted March 15, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted March 15, 2009 I'm jealous. But to be honest, I don't know if I can handle 46 days. Did you cross the equator?? Did they do anything special for that? Also, what beach/resort is that in St. Maarten? we got a certficate for crossing the equator and they threw some folks in the pool including captain johnny and abe hughes (cd). we rented a van and drove around. don't remember what the resort is. it wasn't orient beach. some folks did take some orient beach shots, but we can't post them here. glgolfer Posted March 15, 2009 Author #8 Share Posted March 15, 2009 Beautiful photos! Thanks for sharing your trip of a lifetime. BTW, what type of suite did you have? we had a grand suite. 1st time ever being diamond plus did something for us as we were upgraded into it. the ship was only ever about 2/3rds full. says a lot about the economy. we're spoiled now. when we pushed the button for an elevator, it showed up immediately, empty and took us directly to the floor we wanted. a lot of the time it felt like a ghost ship.
