we got a certficate for crossing the equator and they threw some folks in the pool including captain johnny and abe hughes (cd).

 

we rented a van and drove around. don't remember what the resort is.

it wasn't orient beach.

some folks did take some orient beach shots, but we can't post them here.

we had a grand suite. 1st time ever being diamond plus did something for us as we were upgraded into it. the ship was only ever about 2/3rds full.

says a lot about the economy.

 

we're spoiled now. when we pushed the button for an elevator, it showed up immediately, empty and took us directly to the floor we wanted.

 

a lot of the time it felt like a ghost ship.
