Cot in balcony room is it comfortable?

Recommended Posts

my niece and her mother and I are traveling on the Carnivals Legend in July, and wanted to know how comfortable is the cot or open twin bed in the balcony staterooms?

I have a bad back and I wondered how they are, I wanted to know is there a way they can give us all a twin regular bed? My niece is 17 do not want to ruin her back at a young age too.

thanks

We actually sailed in a balcony stateroom on the Legend, and it had a loveseat that made into a twin bed for the 3rd person. So, are you sure on this ship that you would be using a drop down bunk such is available on most other ships? Or will it be a sofa bed?

A 17 year old can (and will) sleep anywhere...put her on the cot---she'll be perfectly fine. Or, take the mattress off the cot and put it on the floor. Teenagers could sleep standing up, if you taped them to the wall. Have no worries about her young back.
