Door Sign Question

Has anyone heard of a recent princess thing where they no longer allow door signs. A fellow roll call member (upcoming Med T/A on the Ruby) posted that they heard this was the case. I know it's possibly 2nd/3rd hand info, but I just wanted to see if anyone has heard of this happening...

DON"T believe it.....if it's your birthday---Princess will leave balloons etc. out side your door....having said that---you can't put just anything on your door....MUST be reasonable and in good taste---nothing offensive.

They put up the birthday and anniversary balloons last month on the Pacific Princess.

I'm sure that's what it was. Some folks feel if they tell a tale often enough it becomes true.

Our friends actually made up a small plaque that they put on their door that really looked like a plaque for a suite and it read:

 

King Kumoniwanalaya Suite

[Toto2Kansas]

I have to admit, I have seen very very few door signs on the Princess sailings we have taken.

Lots on RCI, Carnival and the rest, but very few on Princess.

On the Star Princess during the January Antartic cruise we decorated out doo similar to the way we decorate on HAL and all we got were good comments.

 

You can get putty at the tape department of Wal Mart or Target that you can use to hang signs and then peels off and does not leave a mess on the door.
