I know my DH thinks I am nuts, we fly about 3 times a year...so that is a total of 6 ups and 6 downs and I still hate it. Only thing is that it gets me to disney in 2.5 hours instead of driving about 22 hours....:p

LOL...I am so with ya! I haven't flown in almost 20 years. We go to Nebraska, we drive, 21 hours 1 way. I go to my doctor in June for my blood pressure check, going to ask him way in advance if he can give me something to calm me on the plane. I am a big baby :p

Take a Good Book! I had to fly to Vegas in January (a hardship I know- it was on pocketbook) and I read the whole book on the flight there - but it kept me from thinking about flying! I only bought the one, I never dreamed I would get it all read one way. Then I take 2 on the PRIDE and didn't get either barely looked at. But, honestly - the book kept me from thinking about flying. Elmer has NEVER flown.....so this will be interesting! I may have to buy one of those $7.00 drink for him on the flight that begin with Jack.

I squeeze Dennis' hand on the plane until will level off. He usually has nail marks in his palm. I read the whole time and I too want direct because I hate the up and down.

When do you all think you are going to arrive in Seattle? Sunday?

Casino is good for us-will plan on donating some money there before I donate more on the ship.

Ferry is a good thing too and happy lady we need to make sure we aren't on the ship during Grey's season finale. Hmmm does the Spirit have the seaside theater?

Annette, I take everything books, magazines, port DVD player...you name it. Karen Mike will also have nail marks in his arms, but loves flying mostly the take off and that is the part the scares me the most.

We are hoping to come in Sunday due to time changes, but will have to wait till flights are out to be sure. I don't know about my DSIL and DBIL in Ontario when they will come in but my DSIL amd DBIL in Alberta where planning on flying in on the Tuesday but not 100% sure of that yet.

We aren't into the casino, have never spent a penny on any ship we have been on. We have a casino about 1 hour north of us so when we get the itch we go there.

We always drive everywhere, unless it travel for work. Work trips are the only time I have to fly! Try flying from Germany with two children, a cat and a dog. Not a trip I ever want to repeat. I figure form the East coast to Seattle can't be much worst than to Germany. But, I did check out train prices and time...not workable! Did think about driving...no way! So, guys we have to get on the PLANES! Gotta run, should leave my house in 6 minutes to go to work........

I missed this year ending.......now have to wait for the rerun! CSI, Law & Order and Grey's. The rerun (Grey) last night and the view in the one shot...oh my so breathtaking!

We should be in Sunday also...Ferry & Casino is cool with me! Elmer will just sit and watch me play, I did get him to play Roulette on the Pride. To him slots are not a challenge but yet he can play Freecell for hours, does not make any sense.

I can do the Freecell thing too. Dennis likes to go to the casino. We go to Erie, PA (they have horse racing too) and sometimes Seneca Alleghany in NY. Me, I put 20 bucks in and get pissed off because I didn't get anything out so I get a drink and sit at the 100 draw poker machine and play 50 hands at a penny!!

We have a sign up on the group thread about anyone interested in having a poker cabin crawl. I have read different ways of doing it so any suggestions are welcome. Some suggest a evening or afternoon, others a miday. That we will decide later. Sounds like a lot of fun, I have never particpated in one myself before!

Jennifer, Wonderful........Now we will have two Jennifer's or Jenny's. Hopefully, you will hear from Johna today. I know she has been really busy; so I would call her back if you do not hear from her!

Ok Cheri, in order to get your point you have to know the answer!

I know the answer but I was trying to find the web site I got it from. I normally save the page so I can go back to reference. I called my brother to check 1 of the insects because i figured every state has them. Greg (brother) is a exterminator. (I need spell check)

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. We're back from the Eastern Caribbean. The cruise was awesome and the ship was gorgeous. The ports were fun but certainly not Alaska. I kept thinking about the Alaska cruise the whole time.

I see everyone has been making plans for Seattle. The HI sounds like a plan. I'll talk to Jim and let you know if we're in. We're Priority Club members. Hope we can book using our number. The ferry and casino sound like winners, too. We were actually talking about flying in a couple of days ahead to tour Seattle.

I just finished Grady's review (thanks for the tip, Annette) and his pictures are just breathtaking. Makes me more anxious than ever. It's going to be a long year.

Welcome back Sonya! I'll have to go read your review. Glad you had a great time, even tho Alaska was on your mind :)

We like the idea of HI to. We are also priority club members. We are using points for our 4 night stay in Myrtle Beach in August. Dan likes it to stay out of town now for work. It adds up fast!

Hey Welcome Back Sonja! I have Comfort Inn points. I guess I will have to look into the Priority club too. If we try to get a group rate I don't think they let us use points. If enought are interested we might be better off trying to get a group rate. That would be another thing to look at later I guess.

Were using what PC points we have left for August. I think it will pay for 3 of our 4 nights. I like the idea of a group rate. May be fun having people at the same hotel.

Time to head to work. A shorter night...5:30-11:00. All weekend will be 2-11 :( Everyone have a good night!

Sure! Add away! What info do you need?

For now, I've added your names. Later we'll add more info as we decide.

If this group stays this chatty, we're gonna stay on the first page!!

Hey, front page, chatty, sound like a good thing!

I noticed some of the other groups have a contest for the one who posts certain numbers, don't know if we are chatting enough for that. They started at 10,000 and went up - We are only at 233! Maybe we could start at 2,000 .......

I’m sitting here relaxing drinking me a glass of Sheridan’s liqueur that I got on my last cruise. You know that stuff that is two bottles in one and is white and black and pours out the top at the same time. Boy that stuff is good, I’m glad I brought back a couple cases of it. ;)

We’re signing up for this cruise hopefully on Tuesday. I’ll send her a e-mail this weekend and hopefully she can get back with me on Tuesday. I’m ready to become legit. :D

We can’t wait to go, in the meantime we have a Glory cruise scheduled for September to hold us over. :p
