How long does room service take?

it took over an hour on the only other cruise that i have been on (Carnival) ---- we are headed to alaska in june and i hope it doesnt take so long on Princess!

All depends on the time of day, how busy they are etc.

We have had it quick and painfully slow.

We've always had on-time service for breakfast when we hang our order on the door knob the night before. If you wait until morning to call you're risking a long wait.

We have ordered room service a few times for dinner. Usually called 7:30 or 8:00pm and got the order in 20-30 minutes.

We received everything within 20-30 minutes. Our breakfast was always exactly on time or early.

 

They were also very kind! One night there was creme brulee at dinner and I didn't have dessert and had a hankering for it at 9:40 and they delivered it room service for us!

On average 30 -45 minutes. Breakfast within the time frame on the overnight order card 90% of the time.

It's always been quite fast for us also. I think the most we have ever waited during busy times was 30 minutes, but it averages about 20 minutes at non peak times.

On our last cruise they were very quick, for drinks fastest was 7 minutes for food 15 minutes,, yip, they were so good we use to time them.

We usually call for late night snacks...20 -30 mins. every single time.

 

For the morning whatever time you check on the card they will be there exsactly on time if not a few mins before.

We ordered sanwiches from room service in the afternoon one day around 3pm and it was there within 10-15 mins tops! Must depend on how busy they are, time of day and what you order!
