New Diamond "Ultimate value booklet"

Recommended Posts

A co worker gave me a some coupons in a booklet "crown and anchor"....will they let me use them?

I'm not a member of "the society".

Thanks

Seriously  you resurrected a thread from JUNE 2009

Yes, I seriously did.

Did you seriously just reply to a post to be a jerk and not offer any information?

I thought I was supposed to search instead of start a new thread.

Thanks to everyone that has provided me with information with my other questions.

It has helped a lot and I appreciate it.

Calling someone a "jerk" is hardly the way to get your point across that people should be more civil and helpful.

By the way, the purpose of doing a search is to find the information that you need. If you didn't find the information on this thread, then there is no point to resurrecting this thread. Just go ahead and start a thread with your direct question as its title.

Schplinky, here are the new coupons. RC has never implemented a card-programmed system, alas.

Hi, I'm just curious. Has RCCL done away with the return cruisers cocktail parties? We could always count on a few nights of free drinks. Scheduled to be on the AOS over the Christmas holiday. Just made it to the Diamond level and thought it would mean something. Maybe not. Thanks to everyone on the board. I can always count on picking up tidbits of information.

Thanks.

Beth

on any RCI cruises we have been on in the past year there have been both a welcome back party for all returning guests as well as a Platinum, Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Pinnacle reception. Nothing has been done away with and in some instances things have been added. On our Jewel Transatlantic there was a "top tier" luncheon held one afternoon where everyone sat at tables with ship's officers. There is also a nightly Diamond Event on Adventure of the Seas (assuming you are not sailing on Allure) where complimentary wine, champagne and soft drinks are available and beer an cocktails can be purchased at a discounted price.

What in gods name are you thinking. Not allowed. Please check with forum and find out what your opinion should be!!!;):p

Everyone has been very helpful to me in planning our first cruise and answering my questions. I do appreciate the work that goes into this forum, don't get me wrong.

I'm not interested in getting my point across correctly just to teach someone how to be civil and offer the requested information. There's plenty of other people on this board that get it.

I was somewhere on page 3 when I finally noticed the dates! I thought these were new coupon books had just come out. It was about to be on like Donkey Kong up in this piece! :D:D:D
Yes I'm sure the Oasis will be a fine ship as will be the Allure.:D

the answer to your question is no you cannot use the coupons. They are linked to your account and you have to put your name and seapass # on them and since this is your first cruise, you are not as you stated a member of the "society" and are not entitled to any of the benefits. benefits are not transferable.

I would agree with one exception. The casino free spin and match play will just be accepted no Sea Pass required, at least we and others with us have never been asked.

Are there any good coupons in the Diamond book as of today? If so, I'd like to know. When I went on Royal Caribbean last, I only remember the casino ones and I think there was one free small picture too. They probably discounted that though.

I think the buy one get one free drink coupons are still there! We love those..we take them to Vintages and sample wine that we wouldn't normally purchase. I think there are 2 in each book. Also, we take the coupons from our kids' books (all over 18) and use theirs as well. Never had a problem.

- Free “Spin to win” (3 coupons in book)

- $5 match play casino certificate (3 coupons in book)

Thanks you so much for providing this. We are heading for the Jewel in Jan and I was wondering about this. At least DW is Diamond and we can get this ....

Thanks!

We've never used more than a couple of the coupons. While I would love to have more coupons we could use, we book for the ship and the service. We love the RCCL ships and crew so we continue to book on RCCL. We were on FOS in July and had the best time EVER on a cruise. We loved the activities for the teens, the cabins, the crew...that's why we keep going back. We booked a cruise for next June while we were onboard and honestly got a price on a balcony cabin that we couldn't have booked any cheaper on any line, by using our Diamond balcony discount.

Thanks for the help. It is good to know that Diamond level gets you something. Always nice to have a few drinks on RCCL.

Unless you are living in separate households, you are also Diamond (I see the Emerald flag in your signature) - spouses & minor children in the same household all have the same membership, the highest in the family. Call Crown & Anchor and they will fix it.:)

Actually, that *is* their plan.

They are working on a system that will have all of your coupons encrypted on the magnetic strip on your SeaPass card.

now that this thread is back.....

I wonder what ever happened to this plan?? Did sound like a good idea.
