We have a friend who is interesting going to Mariener of the Seas next year 2010 in August but we told him that he be paying for two people in one room. Marie51 Posted July 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2009 Yes, I did once. Last year I cruised with my sister and BIL and we had 2 adjoining cabins.....one for them and one for me.
firefly333 Posted July 6, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2009 Sometimes you can get a reduced solo add on with RCL, just have to keep checking, mostly closer to the cruise date. Carnival offers 1As for 50% more standard, but even the, Iv heard of deals. RCL has a tuesday sale where they sometimes show lower premiums for solos, even as low as 125%. antmaril Posted July 6, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2009 I am going to Alaska at the end of August with two friends (they are mother & daughter). I paid about 175% to be in a cabin alone. While it obviously cost me more, I am looking for to having he cabin to myself.
cb at sea Posted July 6, 2009 #5 Share Posted July 6, 2009 If you think about it, in most hotels, you pay the same price whether there are 1 or 2 in a room....a ship is similar. They should just say that a cabin cost X$ for up to 2 people!
