Is Carnival water clean?

If that happened, I would just call your room steward, and I'm sure the appropriate departments would look into it.

The water is safe to drink, and I have filled my water bottle in the bathroom sink before - of course I prefer to do it on Lido, but I was assured that it's the same water. Any non-potable water will be labeled as such.

Of course I wouldn't drink it if it was running brown... but my home water has run brown before, too. It certainly would be an unpleasant surprise, but nothing that would really upset me too much. If it was like that all week... yeah, I would be a little more upset

Do you hear the air in the line? Some work was done on it and it stirred up sediment. My solution is to simply run the water for a while. It will clear up.

He is right. It can happen on any cruiseline. I have been on a Royal cruise that it happened. We recieved a letter in our cabin that some work was done on the water lines in our area and the water may run brown for when you first turn it on. The letter said it was perfectly safe to drink and to just let it run for a little bit until it clears up.

I've never had anything like this happen..........I see all kinds of threads about this, but you would think in 16 cruises it would have happened to me at least once.............

Well the video certainly doesn't look like sediment though. It looks like someone drank the water in mexico and it drained down from the upstairs cabin into their sink. LOL!

I've had that happen to me.

It was on the Disney Magic.

Most of the time, it would happen when the ship was at port... Although, I don't remember any smell like they describe in the YouTube video.

We have never had a problem, plus how do you know that that was even of a Carnival ship.

The author of the video states in the description that it was on the Carnival Legend. Do you think he just made up the cruiseline and picked the Legend out of a hat to fool everyone on youtube?

Well... it's the internet.

You can download the video and re-upload it to YouTube saying that it was taken on the QE2... or Atlantis Resort and Casino.

But like I said previously... I've experienced this on another line many years ago.

It is the internet but I am convinced it is authentic. Why? My gut feeling. Plus anyone who has been on Carnival Legend would have refuted it by now I think.

Are you seriously concerned about this? Anytime service is done to water systems....in houses, hotels or ships, there is sediment and air in the system. Simply run the water, in any of the said places, and the line will return with clear, clean water. Jeesh, enough.

Easy there tiger.

I was simply responding to someone that was asking how I know the video is authentic. No need to tell me to shut up. :D

Take a hint from a plumber , If water runs brown you have a PROBLEM!! I wouldn't be drinking it unless you like the flavor of **** or rust! Bring your own bottled water and buy it on ship and be prepared to get sick, and BTW they will just there you it's the flu virus lol.

In any house.

My house...your house.

- even the hotel across the street!

Geez you guys scare easy, huh?

.

If it happens in your house you can have it. NO good normal water runs brown color . It is either sewage problems or bad pipes , neither is good for you.
