(fee) There is a giant inflated slide. (fee) Lots of beautiful sandy beaches and loungers. Floating mats. (fee) Hammocks slung between trees with lots of shade. Good for swinging, too. ;) Delicious lunch buffet. Cool iguanas walking around. Cool nature path. Cool lizards on the nature path.

cb at sea Posted July 19, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2009 It's a beach day---what more could a child want?
JanineM Posted July 19, 2009 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2009 The Iguanas are cool ... but they're a protected species on the island so make sure the kids don't harass them. There was one there last month who had a broken leg - a bit sad. Sometimes kids will throw sticks at them === fortunately when we were there a wildlife officer came over and told the kids to cut it out.
Barba21885 Posted July 20, 2009 #6 Share Posted July 20, 2009 We love CocoCay. Behind the big slide and near where the Kayak tours start, there is a track with battery operated cars for the kids to ride. Our grandsons (4 and 7) just loved it. They have their own at home, but it was something neat for them to ride around on the track. Be sure to go to the part of the beach beyond where the Kayak hut is. There is less activity, more privacy, and you are still able to watch the kids on the inflatable water park
