Had it on Vision last month (July 9 sailing). $79. I asked the bar waiter when I bought it if the drink I was ordering at the time I bought the card was free (I was actually joking)? He didn't charge me for the drink. So... 10 drink card AND a free drink for $79 (plus an extra tip).

Varies. I've seen notices in the Cruise Compass, signs at bars, and nothing at all. If you're interested, I'd start asking at bars on day 1.

On Liberty 3 months ago I saw the signs in all the bars but did not see it in program , I think it was day 4

It was on the Grandeur 2 weeks ago for $79.00 plus tip (94 bucks total). We asked for it on day 1, and was told by the bartender that they can't sell it until they are authorized to do so, which for us was on day 4, I think.

They used to do this on Holland America, we loved it.

I think it was called a wine card on Holland America and we could get a nice glass of bubbly as well as wine.

Yes, you can get any wine (including sparkling) up to the limit of the Deluxe beverage package, usually $12-$14 depending on the ship.

Looked at the compass for July 8th sailing of Harmony and looks like it didnt show up until day 6 for $79.00. Wouldnt be worth it at that stage of the game to me even splitting it with hubby ( which I read was allowed) we could not consume 5 (alcohol)drinks each in one day.
