Simona Stumberger is still the Guest Relations Mgr (will be through Dec. 10th but hoping to extend) and Damir Bradasic is the current F&B Mgr (as shown) but the current Exec Chef is Karl Dufeil. Sorry but I do not have any info regarding the entertainers. I didn't pay attention to their names and didn't keep any of my Celebrity Todays.

Captain Michael Sympouras is currently on the Eclipse. I didn't ask him how long he'd be here but will try to find out.
Captain Michael Sympouras will be on the Eclipse until sometime in November. I don't know the exact date he will be leaving in November.
Also, Mark Zeller is the current hotel director, not Mario Tavares.

Confirmed that the Summit Mar 24/18 sailing has been chartered. Although they said they would match price & perks with additional OBC, they haven't followed through with the promised e-mail with options. I called back to request 2 days later and...was sent some kind of generic notice letter with NOTHING in it other than my name that didn't even advise the ship was chartered?!
So, I am holding an April date with equal cabin (had prime real estate and was able to get 24hour hold on that.) I have no idea if it meets their 'option' since they haven't bother to do anything but initial contact. Of course, I have 2 weeks to DO something, but what? Crappy customer service on notification.
Yesterday, we were given 'replacement' choices of the Summit 11/4/17, 11/11/17 and 4/14/2018; and the Equinox every week starting with the 2/10/18 sailing and ending with the 3/31/2018 sailing. You should be able to change your 'chartered' booking to one of these and keep the same perks & the same rate for the cabin category you originally booked & also receive the 'goodwill' OBC. You have to 2 weeks to pick a 'replacement' cruise and get the goodwill OBC and keep your rate & perks. Hope this helps.

As we are doing B2B2B eagerly await word from you what the compensation is. We too are awaiting clarification.
Thanks.
We had B2B sailing (week of 2/10/18 & 2/17/18) and received $400 per cruise Goodwill OBC because we were in a suite. Otherwise, it's $200 per cruise. We rebooked B2B sailings on the Equinox that they were offering and got to keep the rate we had for our Summit sailings.

What do you expect from a $20 watch - quality. A $20 watch is a piece of junk. If it ran until I got home,I would be happy. For All of you who have mentioned watches from vendors such as Citizen, Heuer, Fossil, etc., they are not $20 watches. Keep to the topic of the post.
DON
OP was not referring to $20 watches only. Maybe you need to learn to read the entire post before criticizing everyone else's responses.

Hubby bought a nice Citizen eco-drive that was on sale and it is still ticking. He's had it for about 3 years.

Thanks so much for the reassurance. This is my first time using them
We've used them several times also and always received what was promised. Just don't like their cancellation fees :(.

So good to know the song that a poster was referring to with the f-bomb word was Bruno Mars's Uptown Funk...NOT the f-bomb word!!! We'll be on the Eclipse again and are looking forward to seeing Topper again...different strokes for different folks :D:D:D
-
We've avoided production shows for years but decided to go to Topper on Eclipse in March. If we had not been in the middle of a row we would have walked out. When they did the number towards the end with the f-bomb repeated multiple times a lot of people did walk out.
We were on the Eclipse for 14 nts departing 3/6/16 and went to Topper. Actually, it was one of our favorites and we never heard the f-bomb, that night nor in January either! Guess we were deaf??? Can't believe X would condone this.

Does anyone have photos of or can speak to the quality of a "virtual balcony"? Is it live time?
We had one on our August 2015 cruise on the Navigator. We were really looking forward to it as the pic on their website looked amazing. What a JOKE!!! The virtual balcony was on a side wall behind a chair and at most 3 feet wide, not the width of the larger wall as pictured on their website. It was live and depending on which side of the ship the camera was pointed, you may or may not see much at all. We saw mostly water our entire cruise. Don't recall having a choice of various categories within the virtual balcony. It could be we picked the wrong category but regardless, we won't book one again. We were soooo disappointed.

We received the offer about 25 days prior to sailing.
$299pp from outside cabin to suite -- pretty good deal.
Thanks for the info bl413. Now the 'waiting game' begins.

Our first upsell was in November 2011 to a window suite for $199 each and we did not receive double credit. I asked if we would and was told no since we did not pay the full price. I didn't question and in hindsight, especially after reading these posts, I should have! Got the same offer in December 2012 and we didn't get double credit for that one either.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

If it makes any difference in your CC status remember to call Princess after the cruise to get double credit for the suite.
The princess rep told us the double credit did not apply in this situation. We didn't receive the double credit when we took them up on their upsell offer to the window suite.
bl413, when is your cruise and how far in advance did you receive this offer? We're wishing and hoping one falls our way for our August cruise.

How did you manage to receive an email asking if you wanted the free upgrade? I'd love to be asked versus it being done 'automatically'. The only time we received a 'free' upgrade, they did it automatically and it was not a desirable cabin/location. Fortunately we were able to go back to our original cabin. Since then, we've always marked our reservation as 'No Upgrade' but explained to the TA that we'd like to be considered for one but not one without our approval. Needless to say, we've not received any since the first time.

Agree with royalcruz. No Cellar Masters on Eclipse in October last year but we found excellent wines fitting into the Premium Beverage Package. [emoji485][emoji485][emoji485]

Cellar Masters was on the Eclipse on our 3/6/2016 sailing. They must have added it back when GastroBar moved to the Passport Bar????
-
Did they also have it for Aqua Class ? now that bistro is out, where to go ????[/quote
I do not know if they did anything 'special' for Aqua Class. Anyone here that sailed in a recent Aqua Class know?
-
I think it was printed on the 'welcome' flyer we received at check-in which stated all of the dining options for lunch. I don't recall it being a separate invitation but if it was, we were given it at check-in.
-
The March 6th sailing on the Eclipse did the same for concierge class. We really enjoyed it. A very nice change from having to 'fight' the crowd in the buffet.
-
Seems that even though certain liquors aren't listed on a particular package that one should ask and may get it anyway. Live and learn and good to know.
-
Was not on the Classic Pkg in December on the Equinox.
-
We had this same issue and we told our TA that we deferred the onboard credit for booking onboard. They revised their 'contract' after confirming with Celebrity. I guess most apply the onboard credit to the current cruise.
-
We received 36 drink vouchers each on this cruise!
3 each per night except for embarkation night and night of Senior Officer's Cocktail Party?
-
Jonette is currently the CCH on Eclipse. Yes at least one more sailing.
Thanks so much for the info. Can't wait to see her again!
The true (free) upgrade fairy really does exist!!!

Congrats and good for you!!! We've never been upgraded on Celebrity nor offered an 'upsell'. Did you have a travel agent or did you book directly through Celebrity? Was Captain George Iatrou onboard? We love Captain George!!! He's amazing imho :D.
