  1. Wonder if your bus was to take us on our tour to Highlands Village. We were to meet at 12:50 and around 11:30 our tour was canceled due to operational reasons.
  2. Were they able to quarantine in their cabin or did the go to the Aloha deck cabins. That deck is blocked mid to forward on the port side. on all our cruises since November, no numbers of Covid cases were ever given out via announcements- just guesses from passengers
  3. I know🙄 I'm just waiting to see it written in the FAQs for Europe sailings and I will be sooo happy. Have to get the test on Saturday for cruises going into Canada but wasn't looking forward to finding a test site in Civitavecchia in October
  4. I see this reference to UK & Europe sailings now but it I see this reference to UK & Europe sailings now but it is listed under the UK sailing FAQs. This statement is not listed on Europe FAQs sailings yet. We are sailing out of Rome so will have to wait and see if this statement shows up in the Europe section eventually. If someone can see this under the Europe section now, I will be going to buy some new glasses.
  5. Thanks for posting this. I checked both UK and Europe sections on my Princess.com and can't find the sentence "Please note this applies to EU" anywhere. I'm sure our roll call for Oct/Nov on the Regal P. will soon have posts about this.
  6. I looked and I can't see any mention of not needing a medically observed Covid test for Europe. Can you post the article that mentions European cruises no longer require a medically observed test. Maybe I need new glasses🤔 TIA
  7. Princess changed the submission time to allow using the OBC for booking excursions. At least its only a phone call to get it back
  8. You can request it at anytime. I do it early to have OBC available to use when booking excursions. In my experience, whenever i have my TA do a refare for a lower price, the shareholder OBC always drops off the bookings. I call princess to have them add it back to the bookings.
  9. Here is how ours has always been coded for refundable and non refundable. Military is only refundable while your FCD, Stock and Travel Agent is non refundable. The "*" designated non refundable.
  10. Check one of your Upcoming Cruises on the Princess website. Go to the Payment section and you can see all the OBC for that cruise. Your unrefundable OBC will have an "*" beside it. No "*" and it is refundable. Our refundable OBC is usually only Military OBC.
  11. We are with you except have no problems with shorts and teeshirts for other than MDR or specialty dining. The only time we are in the MDR is if we are cruising with friends who only eat in MDR. Wear smart casual when at Crown Grill and IF in the MDR.
  12. I have seen bathrobes come through the buffet in the mornings and swim cover ups at noon and on formal nights some even dress up with suits and a dress. We are in shorts all day.
  13. Thanks for posting. I was beginning to think something had changed with the military OBC. Did check out our cruises through 2023 and all show as refundable (no *). The only "non" word I could see in the description was non transferable.
  14. Safe flight home and thanks for all the excursion reviews and photos.
  15. Don't think I've ever had that much of a price difference. Hard to beat that amount of savings. Not hard at all to make your choice😀 Forgot to mention in reply to Billish that Elites receive the mini bar perk automatically for each segment no matter how you book.
  16. Each of the bookings are considered to be individual bookings and you get all the OBCs you would get for only having one 7 day cruise then times 3. You would have to consider any price differences between the 21 day booking and the 3 seven day bookings and then how much total OBCs you would get for each of the bookings. There's no pat answer for that. Sometimes I have had prices go down on 1 or 2 of the short bookings but no lower price on the longer cruise. As I tell my grandson,-- answers can always be different.
  17. Ken, check your past cruises to see if any of your long single cruises could have been booked as segments. Pre pandemic for example, if we had booked a single 30 day cruise that could have been booked for 3 ten day cruises, we would have received credit for 3 cruises listed in our Cruising History. We usually compare cost and OBC to see which way is best to book - one long cruise or in segments.
  18. Hollywood Hiccups is the funniest game show and full of laughs. The Karate Kid or Frozen was not not included in the shows we have seen. It is one game show not to miss seeing.
  19. We were on the Emerald in March and received the regular blue tote bag we have always received. The bag in the picture was used for trivia prizes pre pandemic. I have seen the cruise director's staff, who host various games, use these gray bags as a small backpack to tote around trivia or other game supplies/prizes. Some cruisers have said they use them as shoe bags.
  20. Princess states that if you haven't received your test results after taking a PCR test before you board, they will do a test at the terminal if you show proof of having taken the test. What would be considered the proof that you took the PCR test. We cruise 15 Aug and not sure what test will be available then at either a CVS or walk-in Medical Clinic. We've done most of our testing at our local Walgreens (ID NOW Test) or a clinic with results back in a couple of hours. The only paperwork we get for that test is the email showing our appointment time. Will not have access to a Walgreens for this cruise. Just want to have an idea of what documentation to ask for if we do the PCR test.
  21. Yes. On our last b2b in March, all the doors were closed so we waited till they announced that the cabins were ready. It was no big deal to us. If it was, would have checked with Guest Services to see if we could go to the cabin. Good time to have your lunch.
  22. Coffee card now loaded to your Medallion - no paper card anymore. Medallion keeps count of your specialty coffees.
  23. We've also seen the hallway doors closed several times when cabins are not ready. Doors were even closed if you were on a b2b. Last time we just sat on deck 5 with our carryon, had a sandwich, watched the safety briefing on our phones and doors were opened about 1:00
  24. Glad someone else has seen them. Discovery is only ship we haven't been on so for us it would have been on another ship.
