  1. I'm able to see my future cruises on the app and open up each of them. On the new app no matter which future booking number I put in, the new app always opens up my next cruise in March.
  2. I was told some years ago (pre medallion time) by cruise friends who were Elite that when they were sailing under the Family and Friends rate, that they sailed as a Blue Card and Not as Elite. Don't know if comped cruises might be the same.
  3. Never cashed a check at Guest Services but have cashed a travelers check at GS some years ago.
  4. I was going to say the same thing had been happening to me - no matter what booking numbers I input, the app would open up to our first cruise which is in March. But just now I put in 2 booking #s - Nov 2024 and Feb 2025 - and the info under my Profile has the correct dates, booking #s and staterooms for each cruise. My new app must have changed within the past few days To get the Medallions order for all our cruises through June 2025, I did everything through the old app.
  5. We book when on board to use our OBC and get a table for 5:30. We have no problems getting a table for 5 when cruising with our family.
  6. I did this and it worked and was easy. So thanks. I did use the old app to order medallions for all our other cruises.
  7. Since the restart, have been on 23 cruises covering Europe, Transatlantic, Caribbean with no Covid until we got to Australia in Oct. Then we both got our very first case of Covid. Like Memoak, we don't worry about it anymore at home or on cruises. Don't forsee it going away anytime soon.

  9. I was on the Grand Princess Sept - Nov 2023. On 10 Nov, I self tested positive and was in quarantine for 5 days until I was released at 8am on 15 Nov. I did not have to test any after the test I did on 10 Nov. My DH had to wear a mask when he left the cabin and take a self test (provided by the Medical Center) each morning for 5 days and take it down to the Medical Center to be recorded. He tested positive on the 5th day (14 Nov) and began his 5 days of quarantine. He never had to take another test and was released on 19 Nov at 8AM. We were both called each day by the Medical Center and Guest Services to see how we were doing. Room Service provided lunch and dinner off the MDR menus. We never had any symptoms - just a cough for me. The Medical Center never questioned my daughter or grandson who were travelling with. We both received a letter from Princess saying we would each receive $297.17 in FCCs for being in quarantine. I was surprised that Princess was still offering any compensation for being in quarantine. I received my FCC on 12 Dec but DH still hasn't. Will call Princess to see where it might be.
  10. Your lucky to see the reduced price. Went to one of my standard booking and a Princess Plus booking and both still show $6o to upgrade to Plus and $80 for Premier. I did notice that now when you click on the "Upgrade Now" button, it highlights if you have the Standard, Plus or Premier package. I've never clicked on "Upgrade Now" so first time to see this.
  11. Mine looks like it has always looked. Checked bookings out to 2025 and no change to those either.
  12. For me it much easier to use my desktop with an actual email address. It worked fast and posted almost as fast as it did when I emailed to princess.com. Hope the next 3 go just as fast.
  13. My CCL OBC didn’t get posted to my booking as fast as others have said theirs did, but just happy it all worked and I got it. Emailed my paperwork to hello@stockperks at 9:40AM on Tuesday and received their email at 9:04PM confirming the OBC was now in my booking for 14 April 2024. Checked my booking.and it is there.
  14. On all the ships we have sailed on, the MDR is only open on sea days. The Sun Princess might be different. Besides the buffet on the Sun, you can get food at the International Cafe which is shown on Deck 9 on the deck plan and some other walk-up places on Deck 17
  15. That is what i have been told when I am on the ship. Try using the port free WiFi (if the port has it) to try and get to your future cruises
  16. looks very nice but I have my phone in a tote bag while on the ship or a zipper phone carry case if leaving the ship making it much easier to have Medallion on my lanyard. This "old dog" is past using new stuff.😄.
  17. Yes and England too. About 10 years ago ate at a restaurant in Dover and the bill had the tip line for you to fill out.
  18. We had the 50 package last June. Thought we had the special juice included but when I scanned my Medallion at the juice bar, the crew member told me that juice wasn't in my Plus package. Should have known as juice wasn't listed under Onboard Services or the Travel Summary. Senior moments gets me all the time. Don't go by the apps as mine always has some sort of bad data.

  20. Maybe this identifies if you have the Princess Plus package Under the Profile tab there is a symbol like this by the Onboard Package Section. I have the Plus package connected to the booking number that is shown on the app. Do you have the Plus package
  21. You're right about starving. Too many options for food to starve or be on the very skinny side.
  22. Post #80 is how we found the lunch menu on our 63 days on the Grand Princess. We had to look closely to see what the 2 or 3 changes were each sea day or either ask the MDR hostess.
  23. Good to know that the Royal lunch menus were the same each day. We were on the Grand this fall and their lunch menu was the same except for having about 2 new items switching out each day. We thought it was maybe the cruises in Australia but maybe it's changing fleet wide. In March, we will be on Ruby going into US ports so will see how their lunch menu works.
  24. Thanks for the info on using email. Did you include the cruise information that was required in the past. Also, did you have your stock statement as an attachment or in the body of your email. TIA
  25. Guessing you must have to be within a certain number of days of your embarkation. I'm 77 days away and just have the Dining, Packages, Excursions and Spa tabs. Will keep checking though. I'm 6/7 and DH is 7/7 for completion.
