Any tips for flying out of Amsterdam back to USA? When reading a review this year someone mentioned they booked an appointment to go through security or customs. Would appreciate feedback regarding this and any other tips for navigating this new airport for us. Thanks!

We were going to cruise on a 7 night fjords on the apex in 2024. A deal that I could not pass up on the jewel 12 night arctic circle came my way and we are booked for may 30 2024 😊

@aring75 thanks for posting. We took our first cruise together on Princess on the golden Princess in 2004. Went on the navigator of the seas in later 2004 and never looked back and cruised again I’m Princess even though we had a great time. Looking at the British aisles in 2025 on the regal. we’ve been wanting to try Princess again so very much looking forward to your review 😊

A very wise director I reported to years ago told me, it’s not about you it’s not fair for the people you are vacationing with to work vs shutdown and enjoy time on vacation. I never thought about it like that but it does make sense. Very hard to do in my line of work though.

Started packing today for our jewel repo cruise. Booked it while on the harmony back in January as it was on sale so I couldn’t refuse 😊. I have had to bring the work laptop on all of our previous vacations this year so I have made an executive decision to just bring my work phone. Turn off email notifications so I only receive texts if something urgent. Looking forward sailing on the jewel again. We’ve sailed on her previously 3 x out of San Juan and 1 x out of Tampa. Not having to fly to board is less stressful for sure.

We enjoyed our IV cabin on the edge. It was different and made us feel like the cabin was larger. If you are looking for fresh air, view and privacy this would be it.

It is for sure. First cruise to Bermuda for us out of Bayonne was early may. One nice weather day.
