This is the only bar we didn’t like so much in all of our jewel cruises. Not sure what they were thinking of with the decor as it reminds me of an old carnival bar.

@LouChamp I agree, pre cruise hotel choice is very important to me. Shocked at how many people will stay at less than great choices for hotels and spend big bucks for their cruise.

@MeganGC1983 I feel for Mr Megan. Been there, done that many a time. I now try to drink club soda in between evening drinks to help me avoid the bang over.

@SteelCityCruiser10 have a wonderful cruise! Assuming you plan on dining at Giovanni’s. Curious as to what your thoughts will be as ours was disappointing in November. We are back on the jewel in may and planning on using our bogo for chops twice based on our experience at Giovanni’s

@bobmacliberty we agree about the concert. Voice still amazingly great but did see that he moved with a little challenge. first trip into nyc prior to Covid. No real traffic on drive in or out. Parked in dock parking and good experience. Had apps and drinks at Fridays. Not our first choice but they had room immediately and it was warm inside 😊 we lucked out with the weather as this week, well that’s another story ❄️ 🧊 🥶

I looked at one piece of the compass day 2 that had the shows listed on the right. Showed mama Mia needing reservations but nothing noted below on comedy show. Maybe an error. We’ve always reserved the comedy’s show on allure previously. Thanks!

We think the same. The baseball hats still rub me the wrong way. However, times have changed and there’s more casual dress in the evenings than dressed up IMO. 😞

Happy New Year everyone! so I think some have shared already, what’s up next for cruising in 2024? we have 5/30 jewel Norway & arctic circle cruise then 9/9 a Mediterranean on celebrity silhouette stopping in Italy, France, Croatia, Montenegro and Greece. Very excited for both 😊

That’s wrong…if people don’t want to share that’s ok but blasting you for asking is not ok. I’m always curious to know what deals people were able to get with booking or royal ups. 😊
