  1. The order should be on your original invoice
  2. I wondered the same thing but a little further down the page it says per day per person
  3. I’m enjoying reading your experiences as a solo traveller on Coral. We were on this ship September/October. Departing from Sydney our first stop was Brisbane which didn’t go well. As you correctly said the new cruise terminal is in the middle of nowhere. There were no shuttle buses or transport of any kind and no ambassadors inside the terminal, apart from passengers it was completely empty. Outside, a lone terminal worker was inundated with questions and complaints from frustrated passengers told us that taxis don’t go to the terminal because of Ubers taking over but there were none of them either. It was pretty disappointing and badly organised. We all returned back to the ship.
  4. Plus one report said Celebrity Eclipse was due to arrive at White Bay - wrong. It docked at Sydney cruise terminal as always.
  5. On reflection it was just a standard chair, not a tub chair
  6. The missing tub chair got me thinking… we had one in our balcony stateroom on Coral in October.
  7. Supposed to depart at 4pm but hasn’t. Tug boats turned up but have since left.
  8. We cruised in October. The app recognised me as Elite and offered internet 50% discount, the problem was the order for 4 devices wouldn’t go through. I went to the online chat but they couldn’t help, I rang princess and they couldn’t activate it and passed it on to there IT Dept. Email after email with no luck, they said they were having technical problems . I tried for about 5 weeks and waited until we embarked and went straight to guest services. They signed it up straight away, no problems at all.m
  9. With ANZ in New Zealand I could go online to find out if we qualified for covid insurance. Once I got confirmation I emailed ANZ and requested proof - they emailed back with a covid cover insurance certificate and the full policy. I will be doing this again for our next cruise in 8 weeks time.
  10. We recently stayed for 1 night at the Rendevous Hotel at the Rocks. A historic building but modernised somewhat. The Hotel was okay for 1 night but the location was perfect, an easy walk with our luggage to the cruise terminal.
  11. They had various medallion accessories for sale in the same area as photos/photography on our recent cruise
  12. We boarded on Coral Princess in Sydney late September. It was and still is a requirement to do one of two tests. We did the Rats which we took a photo of the result and included our name written on a piece of paper alongside. It was downloaded onto their check in app. You have to attest you have done it and they will probably ask you again going through the boarding process. You will have the test saved on your phone or iPad to show them if necessary.
  13. We enjoyed Wonderland just for the experience, amazing menu that we will never see again anywhere in any other restaurant, that was in 2016. Disappointed in Jamie Oliver’s.
  14. Worth it though. We wanted to do the ships tour on Ovation as it was the biggest and newest ship to come into Sydney and around NZ. It was the first time Ovation came into Sydney where we boarded in 2016. It was expensive but It was great, just a small group, we learnt and saw a lot on the workings of the kitchen, laundry, crew quarters etc. pretty high security in some places. Went to the bridge and met the Captain, he spent time with us explaining how everything works on a ship that size and a captains life on a cruise ship.
  15. We were on the first cruise in Australasia on Ovation of the Seas mid December 2016, can’t believe it was that long ago. We walked to the Opera House before 5am as we wanted to watch it arrive into Sydney harbour along with a dozen or so others. Unfortunately the weather was dismal, raining and foggy - this was December. This huge ship came out of the mist, like a ghost ship, it was quite eerie. We paid megabucks to do the ships tour which was well worth it. So much goes on behind the scenes, with huge security in the places that matter.
  16. Having recently cruised on Coral Princess there were deck chairs everywhere with passengers belongings on them but no people in sight. 40 minutes is ample time to do what you need to do. I also think that passengers when vacating the deck chair remove their towels and return them to the used towel box which frees up a lot of chairs. On Coral, the crew went around and picked them up which can take a bit of time. Small signs dotted around the pool area wouldn’t go amiss. If you vacate your seat for longer than 40 minutes, your belongings will be removed. PLUS please return your used towel to the laundry box
  17. Robncruise is correct. We embarked on Coral Princess 4 weeks ago in Sydney. We did our own rats test within 24 hrs. Took a photo of the negative result with our names printed alongside on a piece of paper. The photo will have the date and time. This was then uploaded onto the medallion app under the health section. We were also asked by cruise officials when ‘checking in’ if we had completed the test but didn’t have to show proof.
  18. The entertainment is hit and miss so far. In 7 days the Princess singers and dancers have been on only 1 night, no dancing though. Not sure why, normally they are on ever second night or so.
  19. Saw one I’d the comedians last night - not many laughing in the audience
  20. Our check in time was 12.00 on Monday but they allowed Platinum and Elite passengers to board earlier. We were on board at 11am
  21. We’re on Coral now doing the 12 night cruise. We berthed at Brisbane cruise terminal this morning which is very new but about 20 minutes from the city.. Aoart from security staff there are no hostesses or information in the terminal, absolutely nothing. There’s no shuttles to take passengers into the city and no taxis unless you order one which most people didnt because they expect to find a shuttle like other ports. Many angry passengers as there are a lot of people waiting for taxis that don’t come. The terminal is amongst the commercial shipping area. A security guy was trying his best to keep passengers happy but nothing he could do only to say it was very poor organisation.. He also said if you go into Brisbane you might not get back in time to board the ship due to lack of taxis and roadworks. We got back onboard after waiting 2 hours.
  22. HOW COOL IS THIS - Coral Princess arriving into Sydney 22 September 5.45am We’re on the 26 September cruise.
