Thank you for trying to help but it seems that I keep getting in a loop with ads for booking cruises this site is much more difficult to maneuver than I remember It used to be very clear a place for comments and a place for signing up for activities. Thanks again for your efforts

Try this link and then go to Oct 3 Eclipse View Discussion and it should take you right to the roll call.

    Here.

Leaving shortly for the beach. Pickle ball was fun, but it was so hot up there I’m looking like we’ve just come back from the beach without even going there. Hydration is key.

We love pickle ball!  I am assuming they provide racquets?

We are bringing small cans (6 oz.) cans of Fevertree Tonic with us on our upcoming Symphony cruise and plan to bring them on our Equinox cruise in November too. We are fussy about our tonic, we hate gun tonic. A small can is perfect for 2 drinks and we will just bring it to the bar with us. Unfortunately the cans rather than the bottles can only be found in the UK. We ordered ours from Amazon. We are bringing both the Elderflower type and the Indian. If we can’t bring our own, we at least ask the bartender to open a can of tonic rather than using the gun. We have had success with that in the Passport Bar on previous cruises. I wish they would have the flavored gin too. I plan to experiment at home infusing some of my own.

Try Hendricks Midsummer Solstice with Fever Tree Cucumber Tonic. It’s fabulous! Of course you won’t get that on the ship but maybe at a bar onshore!

Am wondering...if the premium + is cheaper than the premium (which I already have), will they pay me to upgrade? 😁😀

For my upcoming Eclipse cruise we have the premium package also because we have 4 perks. But for our Jan 2021 Edge cruise we only have classic (2 perks) and the premium plus doesn't show up at all as an option.  The mystery continues..........

Before you go, get a bank card that doesn’t charge a fee and refunds any atm fees. I recommend the Schwab bank card but that requires a Schwab brokerage account...there may be others.  Use that card to get euros from a BANK atm when you arrive in Europe.  Be careful to use a bank atm not a private or money exchange one.  Make purchases using your no exchange fee credit card...and make sure that the store/restaurant charges you in euros...some will try to convert to $’s for you...don’t let them.  Don’t rely on any Amex card...it is not widely accepted...you want a visa or MasterCard credit card

call the number on the back of the card and tell them when and where you will be traveling.  They may give you an option to limit the amount of purchases during your travel to limit possible theft/fraud.  We never do it, but your choice

I agree with all of the above.  If you have a Fidelity account they also offer fee free ATM withdrawals internationally.

  6. Does anyone know the price of a bottle of the "mediocre" 🙄 Veuve Cliquot is?  I have the premium package so I know there is a discount.  I may purchase a couple bottles to bring on board if it makes financial sense.

  7. We did this excursion while on the Symphony of the Seas.  The description online said "visit a local art gallery".  Boy were we surprised when we got to the Carriers Lumieres! It is just a stunning display of technology and art.  We thought it was just going to be a short visit to a local gallery. 🙂 You cannot go wrong with this excursion. Les Beaux and St Remy were breathtaking too.  This was one of the highlights of our cruise!  I just ran out of the lavender soap I bought in St Remy, now I need to go back!

We were recently on the Eclipse and the ship departed Honolulu at 11pm.   Our flight arrived at 11am and we went directly to the pier and were actually on the ship in our room a little before 1pm.   There were already a lot of people on the ship as it had come from Australia (?) and some 200 people stayed on board to continue on to Vancouver BC (and possibly even on to Alaska).   Blu and the main dining room were open for dinner and the buffet opened at 11:30am.   The muster drill was at 5pm.   It wasn't the same itinerary, but hopefully this info will help you a little.

I know this is a lot to ask but could you post the rest of the daily's if you have them?

  9. I was on the Symphony last fall in the Mediterranean.  Gorgeous ship!  The balcony staterooms are a great size and the storage is good.  Since we were on her in the fall there weren't a lot of children.  We especially liked the Central Park area.  We thought the food was good.  Had one meal in Chops and thought it was decent.  We were with a large group and service was good.  We loved the Solarium Bistro for breakfast and dinner.
