My college aged spring breaker's are on the Majesty of the Seas today so no worries there!😉

Thanks but we are going in October for our 30th anniversary. We are going to Honolulu 2 days early. I guess we will just get acclimated to Michigan weather on our way back!

What about the reverse? Honolulu to Vancouver in October? Oct 3-Oct 13

Has anyone booked 2 cruises with overlapping dates? Celebrity has sale with low deposits but we’re not sure which of 2 itineraries for 2021 will work this far out. We have a granddaughter who will graduate college but don’t have exact dates yet.
You might be able to go on her schools academic calendar to see when graduation will be. I have twins at different schools and my biggest fear was they would graduate the same day. I was able to go on both of the schools calendars and determine their graduations dates were a week apart. Worth a try.

Had a glass of Caymus 40th Anniversary Cab on Friday night.

Now that's funny!

I booked this for my Eclipse cruise. It made me select a time for Day 1 but I saw nothing for Day 2 or the lunch. I would like to go to Murano for our anniversary which will be day 5 on our cruise and probably Sushi on 5 for our lunch.

You do the best reviews! I agree with your assessment on big ships. We find the Mega Ships good for we are traveling in a group (gang) and the smaller ships better for when it is just the me and Mr. Scottygirl.

Why not do a B2B and you can be in the same cabin and experience both sides? That's what I'm doing.
Unfortunately there is a little thing called work that gets in the way of doing that.☹️

Half of the cruise is 5 days at sea, Do you want to see on your Veranda the sunrise or sunset?
I am assuming I will be asleep for sunrise and probably at the martini bar at sunset!

Well, for most of the way, your view will be the same on both sides 🙂
Really no way to predict which direction you will dock at each port if that is your concern.
I am more concerned about traveling between the Islands . Not concerned about the port.

I booked a starboard side cabin for this itinerary but now I'm thinking port side may offer better views. My only concern is that port side deck 5 is smoking correct? That would ruin my trip. I have cabin 8252 booked.

Little Britain,
Thank you for your review! I board the Symphony in 6 days and your review has given me some helpful insight.

Thanks Gayle I saved $14.

Our refundable round trip flights from DTW-CDG-BCN were almost half price on Air2Sea.

My husband and I have Expedited Arrival on our upcoming Symphony cruise. We did not upload pics and we are lowly Gold Members. We do have Global Entry and TSA Precheck and we booked our flights through Choice Air. Just trying to see if it is random or is there a common denominator?
Although our Anthem cruise to Bermuda was not my favorite cruise, the check in process was easy peasy and this sounds like it is a very similar process.

Yes, it can be used for gratuities.
Thank You!

I am looking at cashing in some Royal Caribbean Visa Rewards and the description says can be used for onboard spa packages, wine packages, gift shops, coffee shops and bars, excursions and specialty restaurants. Can the credit be applied toward gratuities? We have a drink package, excursions are paid for and I doubt we will go to a specialty restaurant.

Thank you everyone for confirming what I suspected. I still haven't been able to convince my fellow travelers otherwise. I will be interested to hear what they have to say when they return from their exhausting day.

I usually make reservations for the entire week at different times dependent on Ports of Call and shows and activities. If there is a change of plans as we go along I just cancel or modify the reservations as needed.

It's hard to say from the info you've given, but it sounds like you dock in Naples, go to Capri on the hydrofoil, and then take another hydrofoil to Sorrento in time for lunch there.
So the answer would be: not very much!
There are ferries to Capri from Naples at 8:05, 8:35, 9:10 and 9:30. Each of these take about an hour. The 8:05 seems a bit early to get a tour organized, off the ship and over to the ferry dock, boarded, and ready to go.
The ferries from Capri to Sorrento take less time -- about 20 minutes. I'm guessing the 1:00 pm ferry might be the one, as the one prior to that is not a fast ferry and anything earlier seems too soon....
It seems likely that you'll have, at most 3.5 hours in Capri....and of course, that time includes getting off the ferry, getting up to the piazetta, and allowing enough time to return and board the ferry to Sorrento.
I see a lot of red flags with this tour -- it covers too much ground and seems to include quite a lengthy lunch in Sorrento which -- if I'm going to spend time on a fancy lunch, I'd want to pick my own spot, not go somewhere that's likely to have a large room full of other cruise passengers.
Capri is very, very easy to do on your own, if that's your primary objective. There's a lengthy thread on this not very far down the page (or do a search) with lots of info.
Thank you for your quick reply. My husband and I and another couple are taking a private tour through Joe Bananas to Pompeii, Positano and Sorrento. I am just trying to convince the others that this is probably not the best idea but alas they are not heeding my advice! I believe I saw on another post that you said "you can't do everything!". I would love to see Capri but realize I need to come back another time for that!
