Now I am going to have to come up with an excuse for my boss why I didn't get the month end closed and financial statements prepared.

Thanks for posting the link on the old thread. I might have missed the boat.
Ditto!

Thank you for your review. 38 days and I will be on the Symphony. First Oasis class and first Med cruise.

We are sailing on Allure in October, in 68 days. When can you check-in via the app and upload your photo, etc. Also, I have heard about some people getting expedited boarding. Anyone know anything about that? Do you only get that if you check-in via the app? Thanks!
I checked in via the computer for my 9-16-18 Symphony cruise and my Set Sail Pass showed up on my app automatically. It says Expedited Arrival not Expedited Boarding. You can check in via the App but I wasn't aware of that until I checked in online and at the bottom of the screen it said you could check in via the app. Other members of my sailing party used the app once I alerted them to it's availability.

We just had this same thing happen We all went ahead boarded at C and there was no problem. I did talk to RCI about it beforehand and they said it was fine.
When we arrived back in Barcelona we had to split up between B and C for pick up.
Hope this helps!
Good to know. Thanks!

Thanks for your quick replies. We will just have to pick a bar to meet up at as soon as we board!:cocktail::tropical-drink::beer-mug:

We are traveling with a party of 10 and 2 off us have Terminal C Expedited Arrival listed on their Set Sail Pass on the Royal App and the rest have Terminal B. Can we all check in together? Is the time and terminal enforced? Doesn't really matter to me it's just we will be sharing transportation to the port and seems silly to have two separate drop offs.

I literally just got off the phone with Royal. I was trying to update my cruise docs with my credit card info and kept getting an error message. They had to unlock it with my permission and then I was able to add my credit card info. I could only add my info via Internet Explorer as Google Chrome was not allowing me to check the box that said I agreed to allowing my husband to charge his expenses to my card.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

$860.14 for 2 for a week on Symphony. That is $61.43pppd.
That is what the cruise planner for my 9/16 Symphony cruise. I paid $55.68 per day during the Black Monday sale.

I hung out here on deck 5 as were were starting to move and sail away from port. The band did a great job saluting us off with the famous "Scotland the Brave". Great job!

Great news. We have finally had some rain at home. Almost 3 weeks with no rain. That watering I did today was for not. We are in the red zone, and we should have rain for the next 4 hours. Hopefully the garden will be good for the time we are gone.
It is raining so hard the downspout isn’t keeping up.
I see my town in Michigan on that radar map. It was a good downpour that we desperately needed!

We were on Symphony last month, fabulous ship and great cruise - we are on again on 9/16, see you onboard !
Must have been great if you are going back for more!

Absolutely! Going Sept 16-23.

Following, thanks for your report! We are on the Symphony Sept 16.

We are too excited for tomorrow discussing what our first drink on board is going to be! I am thinking a margarita. Anyone have any recommendations? Also, here is a photograph of the two of us if anyone is on board and spots us. Come and say hi :)

Always love a handsome man in a kilt! I'm from Aberdeen.

Wavy mid length hair. Salt spray gives me beachy waves and I use it for the majority of the cruise.

People from Scotland are actually British! Possibly you mean the English rather than the British?

Depends who you ask. ;););)I was born in Scotland and never refer to myself as a Brit. There is a lot of history there.

WOW what a difference a day makes. We were on the Indy transatlantic from Southampton last year. As you noted the passengers were 90% from Briton, Scotland, and Germany. Spent a lot of time talking in the Diamond Lounge and found the Brits and Germans to be a very happy group, I leave out the Scots as they speak a different version of english:) and have no idea what they are saying. Hope you enjoy your trip as we have little interest in Alaska but keep considering the Fjords.
Growing up in the States my friends had no clue what my mother was saying. Funny thing is she didn't sound any different to me!

So far so good! Looking forward to more.

Thank you so much! We sail September 16.

Sorry for the absence this afternoon, but got caught up having fun, ( the days are dwindling so grabbing as much fun as possible as i finally checked work email and responded to a few to remind me why I need to have as much fun as possible). Hope to have some fun posts tonight. Plan is to see the musical but we are only batting 300 on actually doing activities planned, which in baseball is great, but for cruise activities not so much :)

1991 NCL Starward in a teeny tiny cabin with a tiny port hole which I am pretty sure was next to the anchor! It was awesome.

Glad to finally see another Symphony review. Thank you.
RC Excursion Capri, Sorrento Pompeii
in Italy Ports
Posted
I am trying to convince the people I am cruising with that this excursion is a bad idea. How much time will actually be spent on Capri.
Enjoy breathtaking seaside scenery as you visit two gems, Sorrento and the idyllic isle of Capri, before scouring the archaeological ruins of Pompeii. Enjoy a scenic 50-minute jetfoil ride across turquoise waters to Capri, then stroll La Piazzetta square. Savor a tasty lunch in Sorrento, complete with champagne and tales of local sirens. View recovered artifacts once buried in Pompeii, an ancient Roman city destroyed in 79 AD by a Mount Vesuvius eruption. NP02
