  1. Sorry! Didn't read the whole string before replying. Just got to #10 and responded.
  2. You, "Opened the balcony sliding door...?" That's hard to do, I suppose, from YIN! I assume they upgraded your room type. If it was on them, that should be a positive.
  3. We were in Yacht Club, so had free wifi. However, MSC says the messaging is free on the My MSC app, which works whether or not you have an internet plan. I should note that you do have to set up people you want to be able to IM, and they have to accept it. Not hard to set up at all, though.
  4. DW and I used it on Meraviglia in October. Worked well for texting each other, at least on the ship. Did not use it at Ocean Cay, but you do have to log out of the ship's wifi and switch to Ocean Cay's while on the island.
  5. I am wondering about MSC having UK/Ireland three-prong outlets. My experience on MSC ships has been there being two 110-120v NA outlets and two 2220-40 EU two-prong outlets. If using the universal adapter, you are fine for usb usage, but make sure any things you plug into the outlet is a dual voltage device. For safety's sake, we bring a voltage converter with adapter plugs.
  6. We were in the first YC group in Oct, and boarded at 10:15. You should check the cruise before yours. If it is a 3-day, or even a 4-day cruise, they are sailing fuller, so that will inevitably delay boarding.
  7. And dark chocolate to boot! At least DW was happy! Great seeing you last month! Hope our paths cross again!
  8. In reality, the MDR staff don't know or care if you are bringing wine from your cabin or from a bar on the ship. BTW, if there are no wined glasses in your room, any of the bars will be more than happy to give you an empty glass or two to use.
  9. That should not be a problem at all.
  10. Also PBI (West Palm Beach). We flew in and out of there last month. Did two one-way rentals with National/Avis/Enterprise. About an hour and a half drive.
  11. I wouldn't go by the prices necessarily. It's old. Just trying to show the items listed on the menu per the OP's request.
  12. Butcher's Cut is below. Hola, typically has the All You Can Eat (but keep in mind, it is under $20, so you may get more value at the other venues.
  13. Just to add on, you can use the Platinum meal at Kaito Sushi (for the sushi meal, not the Teppanyaki). We used it on Meraviglia a few weeks ago.
  14. I'm Executive Platinum, so when I travel with DW I get her upgraded. I would never think about having people I am traveling with on business tailgate with my boarding in Group 1. If you choose to do it, fine, but I tend to follow the printed rules, so I wouldn't try it.
  15. You must have been on Deck 15. Could never figure out why he went by Carlos and not Juan or Juan Carlos.
  16. There have been a number of posts on GF over the last few months. I personally have not seen or used them, but it has been routinely reported that MSC does have a special GF menu on many cruises, and if you advise the maitre 'd, they will accommodate you. The only other special menu they have is a children's one as well.
  17. On our recent week long sailing, there were a few nights with two main theater shows, and one night with no show. I suspect having additional shows is dependent on number of passengers. As far as comedy, the last time I ever saw comedy on MSC was on Seaside back in 2018, when they had the Beer Improve troupe from Canada. I am using the term "comedy" lightly with the improve group. They did have two shows, a GP rated and an R rated later show.
  18. The rooms are booked in Bella class, per the OP in another post, which would make using the Diamond boarding perk a bit too much to ask for. To my mind, it is like a family booked together in coach on a flight. If one of the family members gets or merits an upgrade to First, you would not expect that to entitle the passenger to have all the family members board in the early First Class boarding group.
  19. Odd typo! It reads like, "Dawgs", not "Buckeyes." May want to check your keyboard! 😉 TBH, I think they'll meet in the not too distant future. My next door neighbor is an Georgia alum, so we have fun during the season.
  20. We were given the same window on the Oct. 23rd Meraviglia sailing. They never checked us against any time window. That being said, Sealynx offers good advice. On US sailings, actual boarding will very not likely occur before 10:30.
  21. If you go to the MSC site and login to your booking (or your MSC Account/Voyagers' Club, and then your particular cruise) you should be able to go to things to buy. Can't remember if champagne and strawberries is under Beverages or Specialty items, but it should be there now or closer to your sailing date. When you talk about a gift, the site is not like Carnival's where you can buy a gift for someone in another cabin or cruise. You really can only buy it for yourself as far as I know.
