  1. Didn’t find blaring music an issue when I was on the Constellation for 21 nights in April. During the day there were plenty quiet areas to sit and read if that’s what you wanted to do. At night most venues had live music but volume level was fine.
  2. Don’t NCL also require masks indoors whilst in Greece claiming it’s a Greek requirement yet other cruise lines like Celebrity don’t. Doesn’t make sense.
  3. Lady currently on the Edge posted yesterday, on the Facebook roll call for her cruise. she was tested for B2B on its return to Rome. As a nurse she also stated she found it bizarre that the test only involved running the swab round the rim of the nostril rather than pushing it right up which is the normal way to test. This was my experience on the Constellation in April too. Found it most bizarre.
  4. I’ve made a bid on a Sky suite for our cruise on the Beyond on the 23rd June2022, I went in to try and modify it but it won’t let me. It says change unsuccessful. Why would this be so far out?
  5. The fault lies with passengers acting like the pandemics over. We cruised in April and were onboard for 21 nights. We used the stairs most of the time and if we had to use the elevator we masked up. We wore masks anywhere where it was busy i.e shops and when disembarking and socially distanced in the Theatre and bars. Despite Covid on board we came home after 3 flights, one international , Covid free. I do feel the Captain should keep passengers informed of Covid numbers onboard but crowding into elevators etc is madness in a pandemic.
  6. When is your cruise and which ship?
  7. Masks required when flying to Italy until at least 25th June https://www.wantedinrome.com/news/covid-italy-confirms-mask-mandate-on-planes-until-15-june.html
  8. I did a B2B in April and was told by the nurse who carried out my test between cruises very few on B2Bs test positive, possibly because they are ultra cautious knowing they have a test coming up and don’t want to jeopardise being allowed to stay on.
  9. I’ll be wearing one in Heathrow too. Not doing anything to jeopardise my test result the day before cruise! My main worry is BA cancel my flight again. We’ve already had to reschedule once!
  10. Pretty sure it’s still the case for flights to Italy too until at least June 15th.
  11. We’re flying into Rome 5 days before our cruise so I’ll be wearing a mask on the flight even though it’s only 2 and a half hours for me. Not risking catching Covid before my pre cruise Covid test.
  12. See below states until 15th June FFP2 masks are still required on all flights flying to italy https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/italy/coronavirus
  13. Surely you wouldn’t fly knowing you were positive and would likely infect others!
  14. I’m think of booking the ;5 night Hawaii and French Polynesia cruise which sails in February.2024. It would appear the rainy season in French Polynesia is November to April. Has anyone done this cruise and how was the weather? I don’t want to fly all the way from the UK fir the trip of a lifetime to get rain/cloud every day.
