Yep, those have handled it for years. Maybe Cayman Island also.

Where were you? For the most part I've found the port authority or local port handling the tendering to be the exception. For most of my cruises we been on the ship's lifeboats for tendering.

Yep, just read the threads here. Many people are looking at trying Oceania and Celebrity has been their main cruising experience for quite a few years. I actually cruised Oceania before Celebrity, but we've used them both consecutively for the past 10-15 years. As I've said many times, they are different products. You have to take each for what it is.

They've recently changed it to where you can upgrade online before the cruise, when it works. As we know the weekends are not the best time to try to do anything on their website.

It sounds like someone has the Vista confused with an R ship. From what I've read on that other site you mention, I have never, ever, never seen so much misinformation in my life. I am totally amazed how people can get so much stuff wrong. It's like they're intentionally doing it. Some Don Z guy is always trying to straighten them out, but people won't listen.

It's a problem with the cart. Unless you do them all at once you don't get the discount. Say if your target is 6, and you do 4 today, then tomorrow do 2 more you're not getting the discount, although you should. Wanna know how I know? The hard way. I have to get it fixed Monday.

Worst food I've ever had on Oceania was Indian nights in Terrace. I tasted multiple items, all tasted the same, none of which I cared for. Maybe it's my taste, but I'd hate to see any expansion of that cuisine.

Just for more information. I sent in both of our passports on Jun 25th after our last cruise. Sent them in the same envelope. We got the new ones in the mail today, in separate envelopes. Right at 60 days. This was standard processing.

With all due respect, and we're all entitled to our opinion, but I feel your attitude toward this is part of the problem.

Yeah, that's a pretty nice thing they've done. We averaged a B3, or we requested a B3 extended balcony on Marina and were approved. On our 20th the other 3 couples on our Trivia team were all on their 20th. Our team name was The Freebies. Very strange that we all had that in common and wound up on the same trivia team. One of the couples averaged an Oceania Suite so we had a few after trivia cocktails there.

Good to hear, this is one of my pet peeves. I always enjoyed eating there when we don't get off the ship, or a short morning tour or out and about in the port for a while.

It's all a fluid situation, just go with the flow.
