VOOM Discount for Casino Royale Question
Spurschick replied to surfjock27's topic in Royal Caribbean International
When we did it I went to Voom desk. Was told to use up my D+ coupons for first 2 days to get my free days. Then buy the package for the rest of the cruise and had to go back to the desk once purchased and they then applied the credit to our account. -

THE WORST CRUISE I'VE TAKEN and the RESPONSE FROM MSC.

There is a movie channel onboard Had you been in the YC you would have had your choice of newspapers printed and delivered to your cabin every morning. -

Incorrect your butler would have resolved your CPAP issues straight away at the first time of asking. In fact there is a 24/7 concierge in the YC to cater to your every need (and complaint) -

Refundable obc will be refunded to the card on file. Non refundable well shame on them - I’m sorry but they stated they have cruised over 30 cruises. They should know the difference by now. All they had to do was go to casino download it and cash out. -
Oh we had so much fun this week on MSC staying in YC. The elevators have an override whereby if you are in YC you scan your card press the button and it gives you priority access. (2 elevators only) When you get in you scan your card again and press the floor you want. well long story short it takes you straight to the desired floor. Couldn’t help laughing at the folks that didn’t read the priority elevator sign and kept going up and down and couldn’t get out at their desired floor and said they would submit a complaint that they were not working properly lol

THE WORST CRUISE I'VE TAKEN and the RESPONSE FROM MSC.
Spurschick replied to scorpiony3358's topic in MSC Cruises
How exactly do you know that sailing in YC wasn’t worth the cost if you didn’t try it.? I am sorry but given what you say you spend on other lines (given the lines you sail) to say it’s not worth it is completely inaccurate. YC bend over backwards to fix things so no your experience would not have been anywhere close to being the same. Given the cruise lines you state you have sailed clearly your TA did a bad job selling you this as I would never ever recommend MSC in non YC to a US guest. European sailings are completely different to sailing out of USA on MSC. And are a far cry from what you are used to. Moral of the story if the price looks too good to be true it probably is. And for a 30 plus cruiser you should have recognized that the price was significantly cheaper that the US targeted ships for the region. -

1 is actually inaccurate. I have on many occasions spent on board credit before sailing with both Royal and Celebrity so it is not true for all cruise lines. never been able to use my MSC credit in advance but to say that is true of all cruise lines is misleading. -
In the app go into your booking and go to dining if the current sailing is a different length to the sailing you booked you can pick another date to look at.

Spurschick replied to Angie2045's topic in Royal Caribbean International

Real Experience With a Good Travel Insurance Policy
Spurschick replied to RBKL's topic in Royal Caribbean International
The only time I ever had to make a claim (twice) was with Travelguard. first time was a land to Bermuda where my flight back was cancelled due to airports closed on east coast. The got my flights rebooked via Miami and covered expenses whilst stranded. second time had to take dd to dr onboard a ship as she was unwell. Once I provided confirmation not covered by my us medical insurance my refund was timely glad to hear you are doing well now. -
Sorry but really confused by your post. You are referring to Italy and Alaska on the same cruise and Haines. Sorry but does not make any sense.

I registered to get the power up points and yet only my daughter received the email 🤦🏼♀️

Did you book direct or through a TA? The TA (or reservations if booked direct) can note request for table for 4 We are a party of 3 and never had anyone sat with us.

Beverage Package for 1 due to medical reason
Spurschick replied to new2cruising2006's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Royal do give exemptions based on medical issues or pregnancy. -
Agreed, we booked our Regent for 10 nights for around what we paid for Star Class, and we had lifted and shifted that so definitely cheaper than booking Star Class now. Will be interesting to see how it goes to compare.
