  1. @tigervixxxen We've had a lot of laundry done on Celebrity ships. I suspect small items like socks and undies are put in a mesh bag or similar. Larger items, including mens undershirts have a small tag on a seam, usually shoulder, with the cabin #. It's always fun when you wear something you took on your last cruise, but don't wear often, to find that little tag.
  2. Not only won't they wash in cold water, they will not line dry either.😄
  3. We did not do it but there was a similar offering on Reflection for New Year's Eve at this price. Looking at the menu it was the same as the standard Murano's menu with 2 appetizers and 2 entrees with slightly different preparations. Didn't seem worth it to me.
  4. Unfortunately I can think of several things that could be reduced or taken from suite guests continuing with SS and moving up the line. Maybe fortunate will lose the hot tub.
  5. I seriously doubt this is the case but we will probably never know unless things backfire and she is gone as quickly as she appeared. One can only hope.
  6. In my experience any payment made before the due date gets applied to the total amount. It does not go specifically to insurance. You have to add the insurance at the time of booking for pre existing coverage.
  7. You don't pay for the insurance until you make final payment so there would be no $ outlay before the final payment..
  8. Just wait until you have to launder your own towel or wash your own dishes after eating in the buffet.

  10. This is a change that flew under the radar due to the loss of butler service in Sky Suites. I did see mention of it in that thread. I'm going to contact my CVP in the next day or 2 to get her take on it.
  11. They are still trying to steer you to the lounge. We've cruised 3 times since the restart in upper level suites and each time the butler encouraged us to go to the lounge for afternoon tea. We never pushed it because we either weren't hungry or didn't need the extra calories. We are in an upper level suite in September and will definitely asking for something once or twice just to see the response. @cw2go, I agree with your assessment and could have written it. When they initiated some of these changes that did not have any impact on us I contacted Celebrity every time to voice my displeasure. With the latest vaping test I spoke with an executive team member and voiced my concern that this was indicative of changes that would begin to impact the Retreat experience. How I wish I had been wrong.
  12. So do I. We book suites but not SS. The fact that the butler issue will not impact us right now does not mean that I don't feel bad for people in a Sky Suite who was looking forward to that butler experience. I still remember Boris, the first butler we had in our first SS 11 years ago.
  13. Possibly a team could be more efficient in your scenario. The premature outrage is because Celebrity no longer makes official announcements until well after the fact, if even then.
  14. Be prepared to be surprised unless you have a refundable deposit and it is not past final payment date.
  15. Does anyone else think Celebrity should have gotten ahead of this with a press release? I guess that's not the way LLP likes to roll.
  16. Sorry but this is a response from an elitist cruiser who boasts that they will never sail in anything below a Villa or IC suite on a new Edge class ship. Sheesh
  17. Do you remember when the Butlers were renamed to Personal Retreat Host? That lasted about 8 - 12 months.
  18. She was on vacation last week. I just spoke to her yesterday.
  19. We are on Equinox September 2. The SS concierge just called, she was out of the office last week.
  20. Enjoying your review and pictures. This land tour is certainly different than the 2 we did a number of years ago.
  21. It's on the app under dining. There are several room service menu's. Just choose the ones for the Retreat.
