  1. They might be including it in the fee for the 2024 sailing. We are on Equinox sailing September 2 this year. What sailing are you on?
  2. Where is your October 2024 cruise sailing from? Some sailings include the gratuity in the fee so it would be listed a $12, not $9.95 + 18% gratuity.
  3. They have been delaying the bookings for specialty restaurants for holiday sailings. Keep checking but I think it is around the 90 day mark. Prime time reservations booked quickly on our NY cruise and there were no discounts or packages offered.
  4. Heat patches or hot water bottle but with the room service charge getting hot water could be pricy or hard. I've also seen people mention foot warmers that get warm when squeezed. I don't see how a heating pad could be wireless. I have one that needs to be plugged into a USB port to charge it. It doesn't get very hot, is smaller than a normal heating pad and has an auto shutoff. Wonder if Celebrity would allow that one.
  5. Love to read more. We are sailing on Equinox in September. We've had mixed results with Tuscan but were planning on giving it one more chance. Can you go into detail about why it was a miss? Thanks
  6. @mahdnc, isn't this policy changing again on June 1 for suite bookings? I thought I read that the entire deposit would be forfeited if a ship/sale date is changed. Or, is this just speculation?
  7. Most are 6:00 to 9:30. The times are in the app.
  8. I think Celebrity would apply the deposit to the total cruise cost for each guest combined, not break it down to guest 1 and guest 2.
  9. The ship is our destination when on a Caribbean cruise. We've stayed on board for the last 5 or so cruises.
  10. On S Class it was probably clams, mussels, or any other seafood. On E class at Raw on 5 they were very generous with the substitutions, crab legs, lobster, mussles, etc. We really did not care as long as it was something other than oysters. They will work with you to get you what you like.
  11. From another thread it looks like you are in a Sky Suite and you might not be contacted. If you are you will not be asked about in room bar set up, that is for upper level suites. Specialty restaurants are at an additional fee. You should discuss food allergies with the Maitre d and servers in the restaurants.
  12. If you are in a Sky Suite you will have access to breakfast in the Retreat Lounge but will not be able to go to the Captain's Club breakfast for Elite & above CC members. There are signs outside of the events that show the restrictions.
  13. The typical time pre covid was 10 to 14 days. After covid, when ships were not sailing full it was much earier. Now that they are back to full sailings, especially in suites, it is probably back to 10 days. If you don't hear about 9 days prior you can call the Retreat number.
  14. I think the seafood tower at the Porch is an additional $15 above the cover charge. It is enough for 2 people when you consider the other offerings.
  15. It's not quite flaunting status. Different CC levels get different perks and events. The status is on the card so the host/hostess can quickly note that you are eligible to attend.
  16. Yes, you can order more than one appetizer. If there is something on the sea food tower that you don't eat (oysters for us) they will do a substitute.
  17. It does happen. We once had a Maitre d whose work visa was about to expire, in about 3 days. He had to leave the ship at the next port and fly home to get his paperwork in order. Apparently no one caught it.
  18. Non alcohol drinks are available through room service. You can ask that the mini bar be emptied but some butlers will tell you to take water soft drinks and beer.
  19. We are cruising in September and have bookings through December 2024. The cruise I am think of will not be available until late this year or early next. I asked our CVP about an open passages vs a placeholder and she recommended an open passages. Wonder if she would now recommend a placeholder. We usually only have a placeholder booking for a month or 2 but I know if we do it in September it will be longer.
  20. Thanks for clarifying. I thought I was going crazy with the 2 different chair and table styles. I finally figured out the later picture was from an infinite veranda.
  21. Thanks for the review. We are back on Equinox in September.
  22. The cucumber in the cucumber martini or in the Veuve Quique at the Champagne dinner. (Please ignore the spelling, I'm too tired to look it up.)
  23. I wasn't aware of it but still got the 4X points.
  24. You can call celebrity and ask for updated E docs.
