Add me to the list of people who are disappointed that you are not sailing sooner. I've really enjoyed following you and your mom's adventures (and I'm still reading through that 50+ days voyage). However, it's probably for the best that you're not sailing too soon. Since I started reading your reviews I have: - Been obsessed with cake - Bought cake (it was a tiny one, but I never buy cake) - Bought the UDP for an upcoming Oasis cruise (but I think I got an ok price for the current times) So yeah...probably best for my waistline and my wallet 😂

Is tea time a thing on all Celebrity ships? If it is I never noticed it when I sailed with them.

That has to count as a proper exercise session.

I am also around the same age and I almost always sail with Royal Caribbean. Last year, I went on a 7 days Caribbean cruise on the Celebrity Beyond. I was very impressed with the entertainment, particularly the shows that were some of the best I've ever seen on cruise ships. Overall, I really felt like I was the target age for the entertainment. Not sure if it was that particular ship, the whole Edge class or just because the cruise was shorter, but if you're looking at maybe trying Celebrity I recommend checking out the activity schedule for the Edge class.

Thanks for the rec! It will take several slow days to make it through the whole thing (154 pages!?) but I'm enjoying it so far. In my current cake-craving state, Carnival's cake slices look good enough to make me cancel my Oasis cruise and jump ship. I had never heard that about Celebrity's casino drinks, but we will definitely need to try it out for science.

I enjoyed your Oasis live review so much that I'm coming along for the ride (and maybe, just maybe, will be reading some of your past reviews since it looks like it's going to be a slow work day). I am booked with my mother on Celebrity in 2025 and it will be our first time without a drink package as we just couldn't justify the price. I look forward to seeing what your experience is like with the happy hour. Say hello to the Café Al Bacio desserts for me. I miss them.

Late to the party, but thanks for sharing your experience on Oasis! I will be sailing her twice this year and your review has left me very excited about the ship and the food. Also, for some reason, I'm now craving a big slice of cake. I think maybe it was the red velvet from Chops that did it...

Is there a drink checklist? I tried the search function but it didn't return anything. If there is one I'd love to see it. I enjoy trying new things (even weird, peanut buttery things) but I tend to run out of ideas.
