I always choose my cabin, refundable deposit option when booking online. I just saw a post by Gerrilyn who boarded the Sun and was surprised to find she was upgraded to a cabana mini suite reserve collection set back from sea. I would not want this. in the past I have had my TA mark no upgrade, but got one anyway. Anyway to avoid an unwanted upgrade?

Just checked my SUN bookings- fare is up over $700 pp more then I am paying. Benefits or no benefits I am going to try this D0- aft cabin.

Excellent idea! Just got home from cruise. Checked my future bookings on SUN & STAR. My one and only D0- aft cabin has gone up in price more then $700 pp since I booked. Suites remain the same.

I disembarked yesterday. I did speak to Future cruise staff last week. He sells cruises on board and should have some knowledge of what he is selling, right? Wait and see- I am not locked into this D0- aft cabin, so I can easily rebook that cruise in a suite. I certainly won’t be waiting until I board to see what benefits I get. i posted on this thread in response to Leo’s question and leaving this old thread as I am about to board my flight!

Definitely not settled yet. Soon I hope. So my cruises in Suites & this mystery D0- aft benefits are all in October 24 and in winter 2025. Please report back. I also anticipate changes well before I sail.

I posted this while I was on a ship. We will have to wait and see what is being offered. I know we do not want incorrect information or speculation on this forum. Anyone with the D0- aft category should find out soon. Let’s be patient. By the way- it does not say Signature Suite benefits like Cat keeps mentioning. DONE here.

I wouldn’t say that. I see you are disturbed by sharing Signature benefits with this D0- aft category of passengers. I am not bothered by it the weeks I have suites on Sun & Star booked. It is a choice and also still an unknown. i am truly sorry.

I saw a large coach picking up passengers staying at Hilton hotels, today after the cruise.

I just stayed here. It has a shared shuttle to terminal and was included in my hotel stay. Use to cost $10 pp receptionist told me.

From the Princess website this morning. Verified by the Future Cruise person on Regal this week. I say, let’s wait and see if anyone reports back who actually have these cabins.

I am using an iPhone to go to the website. After I choose standard, pick my cabin I get the pop up description and at the bottom of pop up it says includes signature benefits & upgrades. i did not get pop up on my laptop. i booked months ago and have seen this regularly right up to a minute ago. i did ask on board Regal in FC Dept. See earlier post. Maybe a glitch?

15603 is a premium deluxe balcony. if you do a mock booking the pop up describes the cabin with Signature Benefits & upgrades. So it does advertise this in the website. I asked on board ship and posted previously in thread. i do not Know personally yet, but those aft premium deluxe balconies were a higher fare then those midship. we will just have to wait and see before declaring one way or another.

S9 is a signature suite with full signature benefits & upgrades. it is not a mini suite. Not reserve class.

I am on Regal now. Not impressed at all with the FCDept on this ship either. Had to make a second trip to get my booking corrected & FCD applied.
