Interesting, under the old FAS program, you can activate your promo minutes and STILL take advantage of the upgrade a couple of days later? Under the current FAS program, i've never had a pop up to upgrade AFTER i;ve already activated my 150 promo minutes

I got off the elevator and looking down the hallway, I saw a ship officer put this on the door. Unfortunately, i was going in the other direction and didn't think to turn around to ask him. (I came back later and took this pic.) Anyone know what it means?

i did. i asked a 2 stripe officer about the tendering. he gave a canned response. i guess i'm writing to vent my frustrations and even more hoping that some officer from the ship reads this thread so more information is provided to the passengers in the future about WHY there are delays.

Port 1 (Edinburgh): last tender 4pm At 3:30 pm when I arrived, there are about 300 already waiting for a tender and more coming. Then the tenders stopped. We stood there for 20 min then a big boat came. Why didn't ncl continue with the smaller tenders? There were using 2piers for tenders. The big boat only took about 1/2 the line. Then a smaller tender docked at the 2nd pier while we almost finished loading. Port2 (Kirkwall): We're docked. Usually when we leave, there are 2 exits. Today, it's just mid-ship exit. At 10:20 am when I was leaving, there were about 100 on line in front of me. Exit was deck 5. We were queuing on deck 6. Why was there a line to LEAVE? why didn't they open a 2nd exit when they saw the long line? (and hopefully make an announcement for the 2nd exit).

Google speedtest: 3megs down is perfectly acceptable to me for my purposes of email and facebook. i am currently somewhere off the coast of scotland but speedtest connected to dallas,usa? i guess the internet satellite is currently over Texas?

it's 6:45am local time. i now have 10days 5 hrs and change of unlimited basic. i guess i could have upgraded at 12:01am local time to have 10 1/2 days internet but i was asleep. so apparently, when the cruise has 10days left AND you have 300 promo minutes, the price drops to $100 upgrade. No idea about shorter cruises and 150min promo

For me, I'm not activating my promo minutes till day 3 (tomorrow). When I activate, it'll take me to an upsell screen first. There should be an option to upgrade to unlimited for $x. If I don't see that upsell screen or the $100 price tag, then I'm going to the internet mgr. (She's the one that told me day 3 was $100.) In the past, the unlimited internet discount was only to day 2 so this would be a recent change. The day3 discount might only be for longer cruises where you get 300 promo minutes instead of 150. (When I was on a 14(?) Day Breakaway cruise last Nov, I was not told of a day3 discount)

300 promo min: $130 upgrade day2, $100 upgrade unlimited premium day3. No additional discounts after day 3 I'm going to assume not to activate your minutes till day 3. You should get the upgrade screen when you try to activate your minutes

I'm on the Star. The cabins are still being fixed up and doors were opened. 4512 (right) is 2feet longer than 4516. From the pic you can see where the additional 2 feet came from. (The space where the luggage is leaning against) Inside the room, there's 2 feet of additional space between the end of bed and the desk. You don't need to squeeze in at that intersection

Yes, I was talking about when the plane reached the gate is when I started the clock. Included in my time is the wait to de-plane.

From Landing at Heathrow to passport check to the long walk to central bus station (terminal 2) where National express bus is took me 50min. And I only had carry on. Didn't have to wait for the baggage claim

Never turned on my tv so no idea if there's virtual. The yoga classes I went to were in person in the gym by the fitness instructor. Oh, because of the small size of the room, it's only limited to 10people. I think those that paid in advance for the class gets priority over us aquas

yes, aquaclass = free yoga classes. there were yoga mats in the room when i was on edge class. (incidentally i traded down on my next free aqua to sunset/aft balcony because i want a real balcony on edge class.) never been in aqua on any s-class but i assume they have it in class as well. edit: on your cruise, maybe there's no fitness instructors thus no yoga classes

Viva's transatlantic ends 11/27/23. The next sailing I see is 12/2. 11/27 cruise sold out already? 11/27-12/2 used as a special sailing for press/travel agents? or..?
