Check your cruise calendar. Being a lay back island port, many shops in downtown Hilo don't open on Sunday. I was just there last week and the place looked like a ghost town. Farmers market was about the only place that was open.

One problem with booking NRD so far ahead is that you never know what the flight will cost. 

Just got off Serenade of The Seas on Sunday. Many people skipped the hand sanitizer dispener on the way to buffet and MDR. Staff turned a blind eye and said nothing. Hardly anyone wore mask or social distancing. More and more people started coughing around Day 4. Things are definitely returning to pre COVID normal.

Roberts Hawaii has a shared shuttle service from Honolulu cruise terminal to HNL. Online reviews are a mixed bag from good to terrible. Does anyone have any prior experience with them? Thanks.

DW got Covid two days after getting off a cruise. It seems Covid is on every ship and a common occurance now.

And no economies of scale.

If 3 year old was having such a hard time walking in the heat, why didn't dad let jr ride on his shoulder or retreat back to the ship? That's what I would have done.

RCCL ships also have karaoke but suprisingly, X does not. 

Can't agree more. Bad guys don't like to hang around when LEO with assault rifles are out and about in the area.

70's disco is getting out of style (no more YMCA please). Cruise lines are now doing 80's music theme night.

Thanks to availabity of public laudermat on Carnival and Princess ships, I always wash my dirty clothes on last sea day before I pack them up on my trip home. Wouldn't want it any other way. 

You sure it wasn't towel animals that did this to your smelly clothes on the floor?

Does this mean you have to do the check-in for the no show person as if he/she will be on the ship? Would like some advice as I am also dealing this situation next month.

I am still trying to figure this out as I had an Amex promo rebate and OBC attached to my previous booking. If this is a cancel and rebook with a new reservation #, I will likely lose both perks and am screwed. 

Another NO vote. Not worth the risk giving your recent Covid experience. Save the money and do something else nice on land.
