We cruised in early November and during a 14 days cruise, my husband and I had a combined quarantine of 10 days… in early January, after waiting for 3 hrs to speak to guest services, we got a credit showing in our account but only for 3 days out of the 10 days…. Holland America is not honouring its promises to guests…
We waited on the phone for over 3 hrs to talk to a guest relations agent regarding our cruise credit for days of isolation during a 2022 cruise…Patience paid off, our credit should be issued in 24/48 hrs…and I got a case number for reference….
We cancelled a “no refund deposit” cruise in 2022… the deposit was applied to our Mariners’ account as future cruise credit which we used for a later cruise.
Hasn’t anyone ever had to reply yes to the question « have you had covid in the last seven days » i will have to say Yes in a couple of days after having had covid on one ship, and disembarking to embark on another Holland ship. I will have a recovery letter and negative test result… but what happens when you answer yes to the question is what I would like to know
Here is my dilemma: our assigned boarding time is 1:40 pm but we must check out of our hotel at 10:30. Will they allow us to board earlier than assigned time?
The Prime Minister has signed off on removing entry requirements and covid testing….. the new measures come into effect on Sept.30 which is probably when Holland America will update its health protocol for Canada…
You DO NOT need to enter your voyage number to check your cruise health protocol; enter your booking number and name and press submit…. You can EITHER enter your booking number and name OR your voyage number..Happy sailing
You are right, I should have specified. It is in the AFT section; we went from VH to now VE… it seems to be a good upgrade… As always I appreciate savvy Cruise Critic opinions.
We are doing a transatlantic this Fall, new protocole for the 15 days and less no testing, excludes transatlantic crossings, therefore we will need to test,,, requirement states 72 hours…..
We will board on the Saturday and need to test 72 hours prior (Trans Atlantic), does it mean that we can test starting Wednesday or do we need to wait until Thursday? Does 72 hours prior include boarding day? So confusing!!
