  2. We have never used Uber/Lyft before, and was wondering whether it is better to make reservations ahead of time or just arrange after we have gotten our luggage? Is there a price difference doing it one way vs the other? I know that out of LAX that we have to go at least Uber Black if we want to be picked up curbside. Does Lyft have the same level? Thanks in advance for any help.
  3. We were on the Escape in the Haven in January as well, and this was our experience as well. There was a separate entrance for the Haven into the terminal. You could either go up the stairs or there was an elevator to take you up.

  6. Never been on the Encore, but on all ships that we have been on, one of the workers would tell people that were smoking cigarettes in the Cigar Lounge that they were not allowed to smoke them in there if they saw them. There were also passengers that would point it out to them sometimes.
  7. Not sure which line you cruise on, but we are booked on NCL Jewel that starts in Panama City, does a full transit through the canals, then to Costa Rica and the ABC's and then ends in Colon. It is a 9 day cruise. This will be our first canal cruise and looking forward to going through the entire canal using the old locks. Just another option for you. Enjoy whatever cruise you decide on. 🙂

  10. The Haven pool is on deck 16. They are allowed there. The Haven Sundeck that is 16 and above is on deck 17.
  11. How do you know what terminal you sail out of? We will be on NCL.
  12. The last time we went out of San Pedro was on the Jewel, and now that I think about the return trip, we also backed down the channel to the pier. And we did it in heavy fog. We had an Aft Suite on that trip and it was kind of eerie. 😃

  14. We have the Prima booked, but not until January 2024. That is because we wanted to see the Haven first hand and this gives us longer to pay for it. lol.. Looking forward to your posts and pictures. Enjoy your cruise!!
  15. We just booked the Haven (14922) for 2024, and was wondering if anyone had a good picture of the back of the ship? On the deck plans it shows a white area on deck 15 above us and just curious as to what it actually looks like. I know the infinity pool is on deck 16 and maybe it is just a catch for the water or something. Thanks in advance.

  18. Which one did you book? None of the Hilton brand ones that I saw said anything about a shuttle. Thanks in advance.
  19. We will be on the Jewell 3/12/23 out of Panama City, and the hotel we are staying at said they could arrange for our transportation from the airport to the hotel. Maybe you can check with whatever hotel you end up booking and see if they have something similar. Thankfully they have a free shuttle in the morning to the port as well.   20. It may get more use if they changed it to a complimentary restaurant. Why they have not done that, I'm not sure. Like has been said, the times we have been the only time we saw people there was on embarkation day when it was free for Haven guests. The food was ok, but nothing that you couldn't get elsewhere on the ship for free. With the exception of the milkshakes.
