If it is a short cruise, park at the port. Garage is immediately across the street from the ship. Twice the price as the garage downtown, but worth the convenience.

I am following along with you. I really enjoyed what you started off with. I am looking forward to reading the perspective of a seasoned cruiser who is not a Celebrity loyalist as many of us are on this board. I would love to see pics of your panoramic ocean view stateroom with 10% obstruction. I am also interested in your E-Class dining selections among the multitude of included and for-fee venues that you have to choose from on board Beyond. Bon voyage. Paul

I have not received an upgrade bid email for my December cruise. I am booked in a verandah. Is it possible that I do not qualify for upgrade bidding because I booked through the warehouse club?

Happy Embarkation Eve Coco! Wishing you and yours safe travels to the port. I am getting plenty of cruise organizational ideas from yourself and others who have chimed in during this packing phase of your live thread. Now that you are all packed and ready to hit the x-way, I have a couple questions. Chicago Paul tends to include in his Live Froms a paragraph about the details regarding his booking such as when and how he booked and how much he paid for the cruise and the flight(s) and I always find those details enlightening. Care to divulge?😉 Are you and the crew staying over post-cruise before flying back to the mid-Atlantic? The pre-cruise hotel you discovered last year, Le Méridien Dania Beach nearby FLL turned out to be an excellent choice from what I remember you writing about it.

Hi Kelly. Tim and I are back and exhausted from our 20 day sojourn to Italy including ten nights on board Constellation through the Greek Isles. The good news is we left the day before Ian arrived and suffered only very minimal landscape damage here in Bonita Springs. Thanks for doing this live thread. And thanks for starting early, so I don’t have to play catch up. Although something tells me this will be a rather active thread requiring pages and pages of reading. However, so far I am enjoying every single detail you have provided. I have pulled up a chair next to Jim, so I can keep up. Eager to hear your impressions as I have had the same reservations about the E-class ships that you have. Curious what Eden is all about these days. You are in The Retreat, so no doubt you will receive the exceptional service this class is noted for. Don’t worry about the food in Luminae. It will be truly wonderful if it is anything like our past experiences on Equinox and Silhouette. Bon voyage to you and your loved ones. Post lots of pics for us to drool over. Paul

Good to know. Thanks for easing the clingy shower curtain angst that I have been encountering. I still wonder if they will change them to the heavier beige ones that are on Pursuit before December.

Quarantined onboard - did you receive your cruise rebate yet
Stem to Stern replied to stromer's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Hi Rick. Sorry about the quarantine situation. After experiencing this I had to go chasing after my refund last year. Call Captain’s Club very early tomorrow morning and tell them you were told on board that someone would be reaching out to you. Kindly ask that you have a resolution today. Grab your original invoice and a calculator and determine how much of a $$$ refund you are expecting before you pick up the phone. For example if it was 5 days in quarantine on a 10-day cruise I would expect a 50% refund. You may not get any of the taxes or port charges back, but just the basic cruise fare. They may tell you the refund may take up to 21 days to appear on your credit card statement and it will. I am really sorry you were one of the unfortunate ones. -
I used Safari on my iMac and was able to download it and print selected pages.

Wow!! So a question just to clarify your response. Were there 1300 guests and 900 crew for a total of only 2200 persons on board? Thanks.

Not sure if it was on this thread, but I did read somewhere that it was still the Princess furniture in the smoking area on Onward, but in this photo it looks to still be in useable condition and doesn't seem to be affecting the wonderful time you all having on board. Enjoy!

How fun. Thanks for sharing. They have Majesty of the Seas which is the first vessel I ever cruised on. Although the model is a bit pricy for my budget at $799, but that does include shipping.
