  1. Or are you just a leftie like me? I did the same and let the TA know I have them in case she needs them. 😄
  2. Sorry for going totally off topic here now. With the relabeling of the verandahs (I booked a soon-to-be-recategorized "Deluxe Verandah" formerly known as a 1A I believe.) do you know anything about any changes to the one-category upgrade policy. I wasn't too concerned with the upgrade since I don't believe the 1A category qualifies and I have a kray-kray price on the booking. But I wonder if the one-category upgrade will eventually be done away with as another way to try to improve the bottom line. Thoughts anyone? Or is there already a thread for this?
  3. Thanks. I did not call. Went through the website. Probably a mistake. Although the stateroom is shaded gray now on the stateroom availability and my credit card got charged. 😄 I will forward the info to my TA and ask her to make sure the AI is on the invoice. Ugh.
  4. @wrk2cruiseThanks. Afraid to call for fear that it won't have the AI on it. Maybe I will just pour another glass of wine and wait for it to come. How long should I plan on waiting? 🙂
  5. Try a different sailing. I just tried a dummy booking on a sailing different than the one I booked earlier today and it seems to still be working for me.
  6. I do not normally book via Celebrity Cruises website. When does the invoice come? Will the booking flip over to my travel agent automatically since my last booking was through her? I booked today using the promo code to get the AI for the cruise only price on a deluxe verandah. Is it normal that I only received an email from celebritywebsupport@celebrity.com right after booking that looks something like this: Thank you for choosing Celebrity Cruises for your upcoming cruise vacation. 7. 3 more points here. 0.1% closer to Zenith. 😂🤣😂🤣😂
  8. And now we rejoin our regularly scheduled program already in progress…. 😂
  9. May I ask did you use a credit card for the entire purchase of your Experience More package or were you able to apply your on board credit? I'm sorry, but I am just trying to get clarification on this exact exercise. I am looking at the possibility of pre-purchasing the indulgence package, but want to apply my on board credit and pay the difference with a credit card. I have been reading a variety of answers on this. Thank you.
  10. So sorry if these have already been asked. What brand is the included bottled water? What brand is the ginger ale? What brand is the ginger beer?
  11. Go to the category Ports of Call >>> Bahamas. You will find several threads that discuss Bimini. I have just bumped one up to the top that discusses the golf cart rental situation. This is a fun way to see the "real" side of Bimini on your own including beautiful, natural beaches with local flavor. Don't forget to visit the Dolphin House. This could all be done before lunch. Then you could head back to the ship for lunch, then hop on the free tram if you want to check out the Resorts World beach club before the ship shoves off.
  12. Agree! We showed up on our golf cart unannounced on a Sunday morning. We caught Mr. Saunders on his way out the door headed for church. He happily preempted his plans to give us his guided tour of Dolphin House at $10.00 per person. When we were done another couple came along to see this fantastic attraction. The highlight of our morning on Bimini.
  13. I think I will stick with jewelry and excursions going forward. Although my iPad mini purchased on board in January 2016 using OBC is still serving me well. Although sometimes my iPad thinks I am British or located in the UK? Not sure why.
  14. I received the pop up offer for the $100 OBC for signing up for emails and texts this morning on my computer while in my cruise planner. I took the bait. Here is the link you receive in the first group of text messages that explains all the fine print, exclusions and combinability. My travel advisor will be making a new booking for me this week. From what I can tell my sailing should qualify. I have emailed her, so we shall see how this plays out. https://celebritycruises.attn.tv/l/-Pz/7JgEI
  15. @Host JazzbeauSeveral questions here. Does anyone know when Azamara's loyalty program will be split off from Royal? I am Elite on Celebrity, but my first Azamara cruise is not until December 2022 in a Club Verandah (V3) category. My Azamara account shows the 385 points from my previous Celebrity cruises. Looking for some clarification on whether or not I receive immediate eligibility for Discoverer loyalty discount on internet either prior to my cruise or when I board in December? I will not be in a suite as @mdpacurrently is, but their confirmation leads me to conclude I would qualify for a discount on internet. To receive the 50% Discoverer level loyalty member benefit listed on Azamara's website toward my internet package, am I able to call Azamara to receive this discount (and not be able to use my OBC toward it?) or will I have to wait until I board the ship to get the discount AND apply my OBC?
  16. Hi Norris, I have a question about Azamara ships and I tried searching, but to no avail. I know you can answer this for me. Is the portside forward section of the pool deck the ONLY designated smoking area on board Azamara ships? No other outdoor areas? This is taken from Azamara's smoking policy on their website: Our ships have a designated smoking area, located on the portside forward section of the pool deck. The smoking area is clearly marked. For our guests' comfort and health, all other areas of the ships are non-smoking, including public rooms, restaurants, pool decks, staterooms and suites, verandas and halls. Cheers! Paul
  17. No. She is driving the ship right now.🤣🤣
  18. No thanks. Although I do have a great screen shot of LLP with the reflection of her light ring on her eyeglasses. 🥸I will just have to forgo the free bag of laundry and wash my clothes in the bathroom sink next sailing. Sad that Celebrity can’t get it together.
  19. I just got an email reminding me to watch the webinar. I set my alarm this time. Don’t want to miss out on free bag of laundry.😂😂😂
  20. Thank you for another great report. Loved all of the photos. Happy sailing to both of you as well!!
  21. It was my pleasure. I am glad to read your report of your experience regarding the refund process. You added some very helpful information that will hopefully guide others toward their resolutions. My partner and I are cruising again later this year, but not without some reservations. Hopefully we won’t get Covid or be contact traced. Nevertheless we do not believe our cruising world has come crashing down because of this experience. Stuff happens and now we are better prepared. Although we are not prepared to eat with disposable dinnerware and utensils. We were fortunate in that respect the first time around. 😂
  22. Our situation goes back to last year. We were contact traced on the last evening of our October 2021 sailing on Celebrity Equinox. We were seated in Luminae adjacent to (within 6-feet of) a family of which at least one of them tested positive for COVID. Fortunately our tests came back negative and we only remained in jail from 5pm until debarkation the next morning. That night we were told on board on two different occasions by medical personal visiting our stateroom to perform COVID test and by guest relations desk that we would be contacted when we got home regarding compensation. After a couple weeks with zero contact I reached out to my TA. She had heard nothing either, so I called Captain’s Club bright and early one morning. My hold time was minimal and the rep I spoke with in Iowa was very accommodating. She happened to be one of the three resolutions managers that were at the time authorized to deal with these issues. She processed a refund back to our credit card in the amount equal to one night’s cruise fare. She said the credit could take a few weeks to appear, but it showed up after only a couple weeks. I would recommend you know what amount you expect to be reimbursed for and be prepared to speak to that amount and how you arrived at it. I would plan on scheduling the time for a phone call rather than emailing. Many accounts on here about unresponsiveness to emails to Celebrity Engagement Center. I am somewhat curious about all of those passengers going back to last summer when cruising first restarted that may not have received or sought compensation for their quarantine days on board.
