  1. Just off the Breakaway two days ago. We were in a Club Balcony and had no problems with our shampoo and bodywash. Loved our great room steward Beth. Sounds like OP had a different kind of steward! We were told we couldn't get our Cagneys dessert boxed up so we ate what we could there. We have had different experiences on different ships. Sometimes it's yes and sometimes no. Not really a problem for us. We had a great time
  2. Ruby tier here so 400 obc plus another 400 to 800 depending on play. Host always tell me amount to shop for additional xxx $$. DH likes to shop the photo shop gadgets and I get jewelry and Lancome or Estee Lauder. I gift some of these items to family. Does anyone else have to go the credit desk at end of almost every cruise to get the comps applied correctly? Last day bill usually shows unused nonrefundable obc. CAS comp will be for correct amount but their system doesn't apply correctly. I have to talk to higher ranked credit officer to get it fixed. This usually takes an hour or so of my last evening.
  3. Currently on Breakaway and went to Syds show 2 nights ago. They will be performing Rumors tonight!
  4. Same promos as 2 weeks ago. If you have CNs available in your account you can go to Make Payment and give it a try. About to board another cruise now so won't be on CC for awhile. Hope it works for you 😊
  5. My ncl app allowed me today to apply a 3rd CN to a recently booked cruise.
  6. I just went on my ncl app and tried applying a 3rd CN to my recently booked cruise. So far it appears to have worked. I'm not going to worry about it if the system kicks it out as we are about to leave on a different cruise;)
  7. I've been hoping for an update too. I hope OP will come back and let us know how it turns out.
  8. We were on Encore for our last pre-Covid cruise. I don't recall seeing Pandora then but that could have changed by now. My notes from that cruise say I found some Uno de 50 jewelry. I have a couple of their pieces. Silver necklaces and bracelets, some with blue stones.
  9. I always have some OBC to spend. Had to spend some at Pandora on Bliss😉 On the Bliss in September I found a nice Citizen watch.
  10. We have done the photo upload pictures several times now. For our recent online check-in, my same photo that had successfully uploaded three months ago would not work this time. (Hate taking selfies at midnight!) And, as noted by others, it seems like the port staff wants to retake your picture at some ports.
  11. Thanks for sharing your review with us @Jason26. Like you, we usually have our first meal onboard in the MDR. Did you ever eat at O'Sheehans? It's a complimentary casual venue we usually enjoy. We also like Shanghai's Noodle (another complimentary venue). How was your disembarkation?
  12. This brings up another item that I would hope NCL will correct for Prima. They did have music in the Penrose Atrium in the evenings but there wasn't much seating there. However, farther Aft on Deck 6 they have a lovely good sized area called the Belvedere Bar. I would suggest moving the musicians to that area.
  13. I was so happy to find a way to contact them without using FB. When we booked our cruise from Galveston I had no idea how hard it would be to figure out transportation from IAH to Galveston. Once I read about the Saltwater Mom's and contacted them, it was all so easy.
  14. We loved our 11 days on the Prima from Galveston to Miami. As soon as we got home we booked another similar cruise. Our Club Balcony MA cabin was spacious with great storage space. It is a very unique NCL ship so it's hard to compare to our cruises on other ships. For our cruise, two separate hurricanes cancelled our stops at Cozumel and GSC so we had extra 'days at sea'. This gave us plenty of extra time to enjoy the ship. While we love the Waterfront on Breakaway/Plus ships, the deck 8 Ocean Boulevard is now our favorite outdoor space on any ship. As with any new ship, there were a few minor things that they could improve on, but nothing that would keep us from looking forward to our next cruise on her. The new food venues great. Loved Palomar and especially Indulge Food Hall. (Hoping they increase the lunch hours for Indulge🤞) And Hasuki (the teppanyaki venue) was improved with addition of smaller seating counters for two and four along the side wall. We got to enjoy the meal cooked just for the two of us. Syd Norman's was our favorite entertainment space. Yes, we did get in line about an hour prior to open to guarantee a seat but felt it was well worth it. In my opinion, Prima's Syds was actually larger (side-to-side) that those on other ships. (Another suggestion to NCL: Replace the two leather couches with more chairs. Yes, couches are awesome, but give us more seating!)
  15. Yes, there is an email to contact them if you (like me) do not use FB. Found this on Cruise Critic a few months ago and was successful in setting up our transportation with the Galveston Saltwater Mom's. Send a message with 'Reservation' in the header to: bwarren814@att.net
  16. We loved our two days in Galveston before our cruise on NCL! We stayed at the Tremont and were able to walk all over the downtown Strand area. Wonderful food and there was live music playing in several bars that you could enjoy while walking around. Morning of the cruise we were close enough to NCL's terminal to just roll our suitcases to the ship. Definitely will plan at least two nights in Galveston prior to our next cruise from this port.
  17. Thanks for all the great tips! Ocean Blue and the Noodle Bar are on our list😋 As always, we appreciate your detailed and well written review!
  18. We are late risers so our time spent on Deck 8 was in the afternoon and never saw the Hydration Station open. Guess it was an idea that just didn't work out🤔 Gorgeous pictures of that early morning arrival at POM. Thanks for sharing another cruise with us😎
  19. Loving your pictures! We spent a lot of time on Deck 8. Strange though, we never saw the Hydration Station open during our 11 days onboard. Have you seen it open?
  20. As your wife was in the Slot Tournament, did they have a CAS welcome packet in your cabin? This usually has a 'free drinks' while in the casino card which lets you get free bottled waters and cans of Coke/Diet Coke to take back to your room. (Perhaps not needed with your PPlus packet, but cans of Coke are nice to have.) If they left you that CAS packet, the letter with it would show the names of the CAS Exec and regular Hosts. I love that you bring your wife Starbucks before she has to leave the cabin. My DH spoils me that way too☺️
  21. On another ship (Prima), I left a book I had read in the Observation Lounge. They had cabinets by one of the doors that held things like Scrabble games, Crossword Puzzles and Sudokos. Someone else had left a book there so I added mine.
  22. Was CAS able to give you the military discount for the Admin Fee portion of your comped cruise? (The $20 per person/per day)
  23. Gary, can you tell us what groups boarded before Boarding Group 1? Also, can you tell us who the Hosts are in the Casino? Thanks for sharing! Loving your review😎
  24. Yes, I was also going to suggest Prima. It's smaller than the Breakaway/Breakaway Plus but still has lots of great venues. You really have to wander around the ship to see all of the different areas. The Indulge Food Hall is a great concept that we would love to see added to the larger ships if possible. There are also plenty of deck chairs available on Deck 8 so we never went up to the main pool area. The Observation lounge is lovely but smaller than those on Bliss size ships.
