We don't own smart phones but I am computer literate we have our set sail pass with an arrival time of 10:00AM
RCCL is doing 10AM arrival times? Really?

If this is something you really want for your celebration, it definitely would be best to bring it with you.
Probably a lot cheaper as well.

I guess it varys how many ships in port that day? I didnt notice lines.
The lines we noticed were not in port but waiting for the shuttle just outside the ship. As the day went on, they dwindled.

There is a shuttle from the ship down the pier to a central tram place.
It's a small tram and lines form. You may wish to go when the lines dwindle.

Yep, it gets mixed reviews for just this reason... more dancing than diving.
Our same reaction on Oasis. They've increase the dance numbers and decreased the diving. The "dancing" was disappointing as well... loud music and dancers kicking and splashing water.

Why does it have to be a musical?
How about a good laugh with a classic....
Arsenic and Old Lace? They could even sell some Elderberry Wine for the show.

I'm still curious what the point is, of having a "mascot" dog aboard.
Publicity stunt.

Also be aware that for those who have mobility issues walking on the uneven sand can be hazardous. Please be especially careful.

Ha! We found The Gift to be somewhat silly. What's the point of the guy doing bike tricks midway through the show? The whole plot is hard to understand.
The best part of WWRY is the last fifteen minutes when there are two memorable songs. Is it worth sitting through again? Nah, give me CATS.

Note there are two trams. A small one to take you onto the island from the ship and a larger one that takes you around the island.
They meet up at the same point so you can catch the island tram the same place you get off the ship tram.Just be aware you may have to wait for the ship tram. For some reason they use smaller trams from the ship and there can be a line if you get off the ship at a popular time.

The advantage to the water taxi is that you will probably get some good commentary along the way. And yes, a tip will be expected.🙂

SAVE YOUR MONEY. Definitely not worth it no matter what the cost!!!!
You also have to consider you've paid for a MDR meal with your cruise fare.

Ponzi scheme operators?
Please explain. I'm confused. How is a slot machine on a ship an example of a Ponzi scheme?

Came to say the same thing. If only people knew just how not random slot machines really are, they may stop playing them.
The random number generator is not random?

We enjoy sitting in the front row to be closest to the skaters. To do that, you should plan on arriving early.

Just jealous of Bug Naked, the cat who travels with Captain McCue on Celebrity. My guess is that the dog will not have access to the bridge which Bug Naked has. That's because cats are smarter and cuter than dogs!😉

Cape Liberty parking at the port is now $30 a day. The parking garage often fills up so you will have to use open air parking (also $30 a day) that may require a shuttle.
In addition, if travelling from NYC or Long Island, you will have to pay big bucks in tolls to get to the port.

I know EWR is closer to the port but the options to get from there to SRQ are not as good as the nonstop on Delta out of LGA that I found.
Thank you.
Do you have PreCheck or Clear? Those lines move quickly in Terminal C (Delta) while the regular lines can be a mess. Also be aware that the walk to the gates in Terminal C can be long.
Is it doable? Probably, if all goes well with debarkation, traffic as well as checkin.
Also be aware that you will be paying big $$$ in tolls.

My granddaughter and I enjoyed Cats. She made me sit up front but I think that makes a big difference. The performers are right there and you have to pay attention being that close!
Precisely. It's much better to sit close to the stage and see the amazing costumes and make up. The show has now been shortened and there is no intermission.
Yes, there is a storyline. It helps to google it before you go in. This is unlike many of the shows written for RCCL where the story line is a complete mystery.

We met the "elderly couple" from one show. Seems they cruised a lot and were always selected for the show because they had rehearsed their answers, which were quite humorous. So it may not be as spontaneous as some would think.

The $1583 is the group rate.
Yes, you're correct. I have never used a TA but checked with one who was able to secure this rate. Now I know to ask about group rates before booking.

If we hit a jackpot of 1200 or more, then 25% needs to be taken off the top for taxes.
Who pays the taxes?

Life is too short to spend so much time and effort in pursuing something like this. Instead, celebrate the fact that you will are able to take another cruise.

Is the cost a consideration? It would be to many of us.
