I see that Portside Barbecue recently raised their dinner prices. Is there a lunch menu with lower prices?

On the topic, has anyone ever won the free OBC they supposedly have a drawing for if you book the first 3 days?
I always wondered about this.
Then, on our Oasis cruise last week got a call that we had won the $250 non-refundable OBC. Nice. Cashed it out in the casino.

Statistically any casino that allows smoking will generate more income than one that will not.Maybe... but the trends are turning toward non-smoking. Here's some info for Tribal Casinos which have been smoke free for three years...
"Berkeley, CA – With more than 160 Tribal casino properties operating smokefree in Fiscal Year 2022, Tribal gaming set a revenue record last year, according to a new report by the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC). The report shows that Tribal casinos generated a record-setting $40.9 billion in 2022 and offers an example of casinos thriving while operating smokefree for only three years."

Best Value... Giovanni's for Lunch.
You get a great filet mignon as well as an awesome meat and cheese plattter. Chops is way overpriced, especially for dinner. We also discovered we could use the BOGO for lunch.

Each casino only has one floor. It’s more like a smoking side & non-smoking side.Beware, the smoking side on Oasis was horrible... seemed like no ventillation whatsoever.

Should I buy now or wait... OR go for NCL instead...? So many choises.. 😂
Getting stock information on a Board dedicated to cruising knowing that even the most informed are often wrong.
Anyone see any problem with this?

Why it's tanking...Coming back to the reality of buckets of debt.
Also...
1. General trend of martket is significantly down.
2. Interest rates continue to rise.
3. Price of oil increasing.

When was this? According to @firefly it just changed fleetwide to day 1 and/or 2 only a few days ago
On Saturday, two days ago. It still had to be booked on Day 1 or 2.

Just wanted to report that we were able to use the BOGO on Oasis for lunch in Giovanni's on the last day of the cruise. No problem!
This is an excellent value that includes a filet mignon and a monstrous Cheese and Cured Meat Board that we wound up taking with us. Be happy to answer any other questions you may have.

Sorry but that’s incorrect.
we received receipts for about 1/3 of our D+ drinks in July
The receipt addressed the gratuity in print at the bottom.
Too bad there's no visual evidence of this.

Take a look next time; recently someone posted a picture of their receipt on board.
I have looked at my own receipts and never seen it. Possibly it was from someone who had the drink package where tips are included. Totally different from D, D+, P free drinks.

It is printed in pretty plain language at the bottom of your $0 diamond voucher that gratuity on this drink has been covered by the voucher.
Never seen that.

Flip a coin. It could go either way. Don't worry about asking the concierge. That's why they are there.

kind of hard to find this kind of prices nowadays. By today's standards that's not a "fairly good" deal, it's an outstanding deal. Unless, of course, it's an ancient ship during the least popular time.
The "ancient ships" have fewer and more expensive balconies.

We love Cats and hate Grease.
Bottom line: The production shows are totally subjective.
The ice shows are consistently the best and not to be missed.

The "bubbly" is crap anyway, who would really want it?
Kind of an elitist comment, don't ya think?

Yes, you might make it but you might not.
Do you want a stress free cruise? Personally, I would not want to be worrying about my return fight while sitting at dinner each night.
You say the next direct flight is at 8:30PM. So what about a connecting flight? You might be able to leave at noon (9AM San Fran time) change planes and land in San Fran by 6PM.
Just a thought.

Just playing devils advocate. My last 2 PC cruises, we caught the 9:55 flight from MCO; with no sweat at all
Do you have TSA PreCheck or Clear? The general security lines at MCO can be brutal.

We cannot check our luggage until 1210 at the airport. I tried to see if we could pay $50 pp for the lounge at the airport but maximum is 3 hours.
Sounds like Delta who have been devaluing their product in recent months.

And its no-one elses business.
But what if it does affect me? RCCL has budgeted a certain amount to expect to collect for automatic tips. If that amount is not reached, they will have to make it up by raising the automatic tips for everyone else, namely those who pay them. Indeed, that is exactly what is happening.

I agree, and an important part of your post is “IF gratuities are really distributed as per Royal’s table”. Very few believe that they are.
That would be you and a couple of other people on this board. Unproven generalizations like "Very few believe that they are" are not very helpful to the discussion.

They are on Liberty of the seas. No reservations required.
Firefly already made that point.
My post was intended for those not on that class of ship.

I printed out the new menus for what I believe will be served on our upcoming 8 night cruise, (Welcome Aboard, Royal Night, Mexican Night, Italian Night, French Night, Caribbean Night, Bon Voyage, and British Night). I see no mention of short ribs, which we love. Have you had them since the new menus came out? Perhaps it's another item that has been removed.
We had them on Anthem in March. Whether they still have them... I don't know.
RCL stock - these guys really seem to dislike RCL stock
