That is if you are paying grats. Many on here are not
My guess is that the total not paying is overstated. At least I sure hope so since those of us who do pay are making up the difference.

No explanation was offered. As cusromers, we deserve to know why it was necessary.

Sign on the former DL here on Harmony is indeed changed to Crown Lounge.
Changed to Crown Lounge on Oasis also. I asked the concierge if he knew what happened to the old sign... thought it would be a nice souvenir, but alas, he didn't know.
D's had complete access and the lounge was packed one or two nights. Just wondering how long RCCL will wait to ban D's completely.

There isn’t a Jamie’s on Wonder. It was replaced by Giovanni’s Kitchen.
Giovanni's much better than Jamies, including a nice filet for a lunch bargain

I am one of the people for whom it would be a concern and would not want to book a balcony guarantee. I've read that a balcony cabin in Central Park has music playing in the early evening and that it is possible to enjoy it from ones balcony. (but not if there is competition from a loud TV speaker at one end of the park) Just would like some firsthand knowledge if anyone has experienced the noise issue while sailing in that cabin category.
Enjoyed listening to Classical Guitar from our 10th deck balcony last night. I will caution, however that location is critical. If you are at either end
of Central Park, you probably won’t hear from your balcony.

RCCL is making a bet that it can continue to raise cruise prices by 10%, 30%, 50% and people will continue to pay.
Onboard Oasis now and many are fed up with with the dramatic increases. Will the bubble burst? Maybe not in the next month or two but RCCL better prepare itself for a severe decline in demand.

Indeed I prefer the layout in CK/SL better than the newer sisters. 🙂
And keeping the DL (now Crown Lounge) on deck 11 is a bonus on Allure.
Crown Lounge on Allure is best in the fleet. I remember when they actually served a hot lunch there from a menu with complimentary wine. Ah, those were indeed the days.
I assume that lounge will be a thing of the past when she goes to dry dock.

My sister is on Allure next month on the 3rd. Will check if she notices it as well.
Please check back here on your findings, and have a fantabulous cruise! 🙂
Thanks! Oasis and Allure... two of my favorite ships.

I wonder if they changed the sign yet?
We'll be on Oasis tomorrow. We'll see if we have been "upgraded" to Crown🙂 or will have to hang out in the lowly Diamond Lounge.

🤣🤣🤣 Inflation for a non tipping job? Even when we did still tip, it was a $1.00 a bag. We quit tipping them maybe 3 years ago. It was a little hard to get DH on board with the non tipping the porters.
Amazed at how folks are so concerned about saving a buck or two for a tip when cruise prices have increased by hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars

I can't stand it when people won't keep quiet for captain's announcements. If they aren't interested just be courteous to those who are.😡
Agree that people should be quiet and listen but please tell the captain s/he can eliminate the longitude and latitude stuff.

Medals on last cruise.

Last two cruises on Oasis we were assigned Central Park cabins on Deck 10. No problem... they were fine.

Because of the shutdown, Allure had to skip being “amped”, so she will still be the same as when you sailed on her in 2020.
Yes, leaving in place the best Diamond Lounge in the fleet with a great view of the Boardwalk and the Zipline.

Boarded Jewel this am. D+ and pinn only in lounge during HH.
So how will Royal control access without involving a check of cards, which involves use of staff time and could be embarrassing to cheaters?
Only solution... take away all lounge access to Diamonds. so the cards will not open the door. Once again, changing the name to "Crown" was done for a specific reason.

Some people look to book cabins near the elevators... less walking.
Noise will not be an issue.

We would immediately know it's a lie if it suddenly was the case on every ship and every sailing.
If not a policy now, it's coming to your neighborhood sooner than you think. Why else, the sudden name change to "Crown Lounge?"

Disagree. Doesn't matter who is using the lounge the LA will make the decision based on actual numbers booked for that specific cruise not by who is actually maybe using the DL.
Do you really believe the LA or concierge will make the decision based on numbers? My experience when D+ were kicked out of the Concierge Lounge that numbers had nothing to do with it. It simply became "No entrance for D+" Period.

Let's talk price. On our upcomng Oasis sailing Chops goes for $65. But you are also giving up dinner in the MDR which you have already paid for. Let's say that's worth $20, bringing the actual cost to $85.
Is it worth it? Not in my opinion.
