  1. All the reviews so far have been quite positive about ESC. It puts Chef's Table to shame. I'm on Star in 2026 and for someone who doesn't do specialty restaurants and hates to dress up, I'd fully consider ESC (though I think it'll have a different name/theme on Star)
  2. Now that they're in full salvage mode, I'm curious how much of the terminal is being used for day to day stuff anymore.
  3. The only limitations on what's available I've ever seen are time cutoffs. They won't let you book a flight that arrives after a certain time on embarkation day and won't let you book flights that depart before a certain time after the cruise.
  4. Of course you can ask and I don't think it'd be a problem.
  5. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/food-drink-onboard-policy Diamond on Carnival (Top tier) doesn't seems to offer many more perks than Diamond Plus (Tier 5 of 6) on RC. Not a criticism, just I never looked at Carnivals tiers before.
  6. I don't like it. It's a waste of everyone's time, including the serving staff.
  7. Any time zone change is very well communicated on board. You won't miss it.
  8. I think those routes always have the ship time changed to match the local time zone.
  9. I haven't seen any basic economy fares. Plus you book what you want to book.
  10. For an economy seat, I've seen it $200 cheaper and $50 more expensive.
  11. AIr2Sea can be good for International flights because they often have subsidized flights. Domestic flights don't get subsidized as much. On the flip side the cost of A2S flights compared to booking direct can be more expensive.
  12. That's not true at all. Each time I've used it I've picked exactly the flight I wanted.
  13. There are hundreds of mocktails. Any bartender can suggest something for you if you don't already have something in mind.
  14. Summer cruises are less likely due to DST in the states but not the port country.
  15. The concierge will contact you. They're not supposed to answer emails from guests who haven't yet been sent their email.
  16. My old password met that criteria and didn't work
  17. You could also go to guest services the first day and pay in cash up front just enough to cover those gratuities for the week.
  18. I think this was available on my March cruise. It just gave you the option to change your credit card on file mid-cruise.
  19. It seems all the Quantum class ships have had engine issues
  20. There's nothing you have to do on the app that can't easily and quickly be done at the port, so don't sweat it.
